A New Concept to Reach Out to the Jewish Community in South Florida!

Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg have a vision to establish The Messianic Performing Arts Center of South Florida where first class concerts and cultural events are presented as outreaches to the Jewish people. Gala concerts have been held at Mishkan David Messianic Congregation.

The premiere Concerts featuring Esther Simkin, world-class Soprano, were held March 31 & April 1, 2001 to rave reviews by those in attendance.

The recent Showcase Performances of the award-winning musical, "Mendel & Moses," on October 26, 2002 and "Rabboni" on October 27, 2002 were outstanding. The cast featured Stephen White from the International Tour of "Phantom of the Opera," Denny Hollowell (Core Tenor with The Virginia Symphony), Broadway Veteran George Comtois, Messianic recording artist Jamie Ellen Schwartz, Esther Simkin, and Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg. Check back for info on the next Gala Event! If in Florida, make plans to attend. The Messianic Performing Arts Center of South Florida is probably the only such outreach in the country, or the world for that matter! So, come to the concerts and be blessed, and bring a Jewish friend!

Saturday, March 31, 2001 at 8:00 PM: Premier Gala Concert with Soprano Esther Simkin performing the Messianic music of Jeremiah Ginsberg, with the Composer at the keyboard! This concert initiates the creation of our Messianic Performing Arts Center. Admission is free! All are welcome! Bring a Jewish friend!

April 29, 2001 at 8:00 PM: 2nd Gala Concert with Soprano Esther Simkin performing a new program of the Messianic music of Jeremiah Ginsberg, with the Composer at the keyboard! Come out and support The Messianic Performing Arts Center at Mishkan David Messianic Congregation.

June 16, 2001 at 8:00 PM: Gala Concert with Denny Hollowell, core Tenor with the Virginia Symphony! Performing the Messianic music of Jeremiah Ginsberg, with the Composer at the keyboard! Denny's only performance in South Florida before going on Tour with the Orchestra in Europe!

July 21 & 22, 2001 at 8:00 PM: Gala Concert with Samuel De Palma-Levy, acclaimed bass-baritone, international oper star, performing classic operatic arias, duets with Jamie Ellen Schwartz, and original songs by Jeremiah Ginsberg. Esther Simkin at the piano.

November 17 & 18, 2001 at 8:00 PM: Gala Concert! "Mendel & Moses" Concert Version! featuring Jamie Ellen Schwartz, George Comtois, Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg.

April 27, 2002 at 8:00 PM: Gala Concert featuring Graciela Araya, Mezzo-Soprano Superstar from Europe! (Concert with Graciela cancelled due to change in her performance schedule.) "Mendel & Moses" Concert Version instead, with new cast member, Thom Rogers!

September 1, 2002 at 8:00 PM: Gala Concert featuring Esther Simkin in a program of operatic arias.

October 26, 2002 at 8:00 PM: Gala Concert! A showcase performance of "Mendel & Moses!"
