"America: Sowing the Seeds of Calamity"
March 1998

Dear Friends and Partners in Ministry:

Judgment is ablaze in America. Strange weather patterns and unusual events occur with great intensity and frequency. A portentous storm is swirling on the horizon. There are reasons for this which are rarely thought of or understood. This Gazette will explore those reasons and hopefully bring comfort to your souls.

Remember this, when the final siege is over, the Lord will return to Zion and establish His throne, the throne of David, in Jerusalem. There we all will worship Him.

Israel is what I call "The International Leaven from Heaven." I spoke of it in 1990 at the Endtime Handmaiden's Conference in Missouri. It is designed by God to search out the sin in the souls of men and nations. According to their reactions to Israel, they will receive either mercy or judgment at the hands of a jealous God.

To better understand the events of our day, let's study the following Psalm, replacing the words "me" or "my" with "Israel" or "Israel's."

"O God, whom I praise, do not remain silent, for wicked and deceitful men have opened their mouths against me (Israel); they have spoken against me with lying tongues. With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause. In return for my (Israel's) friendship they accuse me (Israel), but I am a man of prayer. Appoint an evil man to oppose him; let an accuser stand at his right hand. When he (Clinton) is tried, let him be found guilty, and may his prayers condemn him. May his days be few; may another take his (Clinton's) place of leadership." (Psalm 109:1-8)

King David prayed for relief from his enemies long ago. Today, it is Israel's prayer against America and the nations, and specifically against the ignoble leadership of President Clinton who has become her enemy. Consequently, God has created a riptide against him tugging him down and out. Unrelenting and ever widening presidential scandals are chasing him the world over.

America's latest sin against Israel (the constant pressure to force her to give up land and freeze settlements) has been the unseen cause of the onslaught of terrifying judgments coming daily against America. Witness the turbulent El Niño syndrome, the tumbling mountainsides, the raging Pacific and deadly predator tornados.

America's sin would not bring her down as long as she blessed Israel. But now America, by the conduct of this administration, curses Israel, and so the curse ensues.

"I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you." (Gen. 12:3)

And of a more general nature relating to the signs of the times, asteroids are predicted to come dangerously close to crashing into the earth, and one-third of the earth's population is infected with the TB bacillus. And since America is the only superpower, as it goes for America, so it goes for the entire world.

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts will be failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken." (Luke 21:25-26)

Many have questioned, "Why does America suffer so from weather patterns alternately flooding, icing, killing people, and destroying food crops? Why are major corporations downsizing again for no apparent reason? Why the presidential scandals?"

"When with rebukes You correct man for iniquity, You make his beauty melt away like a moth." (Psalm 39:11)

The Lord has shown me the "black horse" of poverty (Rev. 6:5-6) galloping onto the scene. He has shown me chemical attacks coming against our cities by those whom we, in our political correctness and lack of wisdom, have befriended. He has shown me severe inter-racial strife on the increase. But why is this happening to America the beautiful? Why is she being punished?

Another underlying cause: America is instigating renewed worldwide anti-Semitism by her treatment of Israel which will lead to Armageddon as surely as anti-Semitism previously led to the Holocaust. It will get worse, not better. American Jews will be blamed for America's forthcoming poverty, as Jews have always been blamed throughout history, and will have to leave and make aliyah to Israel. Christians must stand with the Jews or they will suffer the consequences.

Clinton's Relentless Pressure Against Israel

The New York Times of March 18, 1998, states in an article entitled, "Israel Bid To Keep Plan Mum Quashed,"

"WASHINGTON (AP) -- Israel appealed to the Clinton Administration Wednesday not to make a public declaration of its blueprint for furthering the peace process between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Assistant Secretary of State Martin Indyk rejected the request, saying the elements of the American proposal were already well-known to Israel and Yasser Arafat's group... These include a demand that Israel agree to a sizable withdrawal on the West Bank, in the range of 12 to 15 percent...

"Also, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is demanding that Israel freeze construction of new homes for Jewish residents of east Jerusalem, which Arafat would like to have as his capital, and on the West Bank, where Israeli troops are in gradual retreat."

(All of Jerusalem and the West Bank have irrefutably been given to Israel by God; see the "ancient heights" in Ezek. 36:1-15)

"In asking the administration to shelve public announcement of its blueprint, the Israeli government sought to head off what could be seen as U.S. pressure for concessions..."

(Israel has already given up 27 percent of its land to Arab terrorists under U.S. pressure.)

"Arafat, on a visit here in January for talks with President Clinton, rejected the offer as 'peanuts.' He wants a total of 97 percent of the territory Jordan lost to Israel in the 1967 Mideast war."

When the God of Israel sent Moses to the wicked Pharaoh who mercilessly mistreated the Hebrews and held them in cruel bondage, He gave Moses these words, "Let My people go!" Can the same not be said to President Clinton? "Let God's chosen people go!" There is something else I would say to Clinton: If you want peace, pressure the Arabs, not Israel!

They Do Not Understand His Plan

"But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, 'Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!' But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord; they do not understand His plan, He who gathers them like sheaves to the threshing floor." (Micah 4:11-12)

Because of America's unyielding stance that the heartlands of Zion be given over to Arafat (who in a fiery speech on February 12, coinciding with Israel's 50th anniversary celebrations, said he was willing to die to see Jerusalem in Palestinian hands, and vowed that once the May 1999 deadline for a final peace treaty with Israel had passed, nothing would stop him from declaring a state in the West Bank and Gaza, and those who didn't like that -- meaning Israel -- "can drink from the sea of Gaza and the Dead Sea."), Israel was compelled to seek new defenders in Spain, Norway, Germany and Britain.

She found none -- President Clinton had already formed a subtle anti-Israel axis with Britain, the acting head of the European Union.

But what Israel did find on her journey was a gang-up against her. America, Britain and the entire 15-member European Union (and, as always, the whole world under the auspices of the United Nations) are conspiring together against Zion, the apple of God's eye (Zech. 2:8), demanding basically three things: a halt to the building of Jewish settlements, turning over more West Bank land, and the relinquishment of East Jerusalem.

They simply do not understand the plan of the Lord. Like the moth which flies into the flickering candle flame, He draws them into a rapid and conclusive summary judgment; there will be no question of fact. The record will be clear and conclusive.

An article in the March 17, 1998 New York Times entitled, "Netanyahu Snubs British Official," makes the record succinctly.

"Touching a raw nerve in Israel, Britain's foreign secretary was greeted by taunts of 'Anti-Semite!' when he visited the site of a new Jewish housing project in Jerusalem and insisted that Mideast peace hinged on a halt to Jewish settlement expansion. A furious Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lashed back, vowing to build 'thousands of homes' on disputed land in east Jerusalem and canceling a dinner and even a traditional handshake with the diplomat, Robin Cook."

"Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples (not an international city of peace); all who would heave it away (appropriate it for themselves or for others than the Biblically designated recipients, the Jews) will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it." (Zech. 12:2-3)

"Cook ignited deep Israeli enmity by meeting with a Palestinian official at the divisive housing project knownin Hebrew as Har Homa and in Arabic as Jabal Abu Ghneim...

"'The issue of Jerusalem is a cardinal one in our eyes and it is important to inform any guest in Jerusalem and anyone who wants to contribute to the peace process that Israel is sovereign in Jerusalem and will remain so,' a stern-faced Netanyahu told reporters.

"British Embassy spokeswoman Sara Buchanan said Cook's agenda had been sanctioned by the European Union - since Britain holds the EU's rotating presidency - and called Netanyahu's response 'an overreaction.'"

(What about God's reactions? He has not sanctioned Cook's agenda. He despises it! O, the arrogance and puny wisdom of man!)

"Netanyahu's tough stance (God bless him!) comes at a time when both the United States and Europe are expected to press initiatives for breaking the deadlock in the Mideast peace talks. Cook said Tuesday that the European and American positions calling for a halt to Israeli settlement building on disputed territory were 'absolutely identical.'

"Secretary of State Madeleine Albright expressed support for Cook (the Clinton/Blair gang-up at work). 'She has great confidence in him personally and in the intentions that he is pursuing at the request of the European Union to visit Israel and try to promote peace in the region,' Albright's spokesman, James P. Rubin, said after the dispute.

"...and despite the protesters jeers, he (Cook) met briefly nearby with Palestinian legislator Salah Tamari, who has led the fight against the project.

"Israeli officials charged that Cook's meeting with Tamari bolstered Palestinian claims to Jerusalem, and said Cook had tricked them by meeting with a Palestinian official at the site after promising not to."

(Don't the British ever get ashamed of their blatant anti-Semitism? We cannot forget their cruelty in blocking the return of the Jews to Zion after the Holocaust when WWII ended in 1945. Neither can we forget the British labor camps in what was then called Palestine, nor the "Exodus" incident. Beware, Great Britain! You are not above God's judgment.)

"Israeli officials were also angered by Cook's decision not to visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial (a terrible slap in the face) -- a routine stop for foreign dignitaries -- and instead to lay a wreath at a memorial for Deir Yassin, scene of a massacre of Palestinians by a Jewish pre-state militia in 1948."

(It was not a massacre; it was self-defense. When the Arabs and the British, who far out-numbered and out-armed the Jewish people, prevented their flightfrom Nazi Germany to resettle their homeland after 2,000 years, the Jews fought for their lives and their land, and by the grace of God succeeded.)

"'I have clearly expressed the anxiety of the European Union about the expansion of settlements and our insistence that if the peace process is to thrive then there must be a halt to such expansion,' Cook told reporters after a meeting with Yasser Arafat."

Arabs Buying Large Parcels Of Land In Jerusalem

The Americans, the British, the EU, and the UN intensely condemn Israel for buying land or building settlements in Jerusalem, "insisting that Mideast peace hinges on a halt to Jewish settlement expansion." But they are silent and unconcerned over the issue of Palestinians building illegal apartments in and around Jerusalem.

Let's look at excerpts from an article in The Jewish Press dated Week of February 13 entitled "Arabs Are Buying Large Parcels of Land In Jerusalem."

"JERUSALEM - The PLO has purchased dozens of acres of land in East Jerusalem. In some cases the land was purchased after the PLO out-maneuvered prospective Jewish buyers. Most of the purchases were mediated by businessmen with a special fund set up by the PLO in Jerusalem."

I cannot recall anything in our newspapers about this. Doesn't it seem strange? It's a full scale cover-up! And what about the Vatican's unprincipled, unscriptural stand about Jerusalem?

"Pope Calls for Justice in Jerusalem"

So read the title of an article in The New York Times on Thursday, February 19, 1998.

"VATICAN CITY (AP) -- A senior official at the Vatican, which does not recognize Israel's claim to all of Jerusalem, says the Pope wants the city to be a place of justice and freedom for all... The Vatican does not recognize Israel's claim to the entire city of Jerusalem, including mainly Arab East Jerusalem, and has insisted that access to sites holy to Christians, Jews and Muslims be protected by an international statute."

This is the Pope's quest to make Jerusalem an "international city of peace" with himself ruling over it. Interestingly, when Jordan controlled the Old City of Jerusalem, the Vatican never complained that Jews were denied access to the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest site. What did Jesus say to the hypocrites? "Woe to you!"

An article in the March 18, 1998 New York Times entitled "Pope Urges Jews-Catholics Dialogue," states:

"VATICAN CITY (AP) -- Just days after a sharply criticized Vatican report on the church and the Holocaust, Pope John Paul II called Wednesday for Jews and Roman Catholics to continue their dialogue with 'renewed openness and trust...' In the report, promised by John Paul over a decade ago, the Vatican expressed regret for the failure of some Christians and Christian nations to speak out against the Nazi genocide, but it singled out wartime Pope Pius XII for praise. Pius has long been criticized for failing to speak out forcefully against the Nazi campaign to wipe out Jews."

The Basket of Wickedness

"Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth. So I asked, What is it? And he said, It is a basket that is going forth. He also said, This is their resemblance throughout the earth: Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket; then he said, This is Wickedness! And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth. Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven. So I said to the angel who talked with me, Where are they carrying the basket? And he said, To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base." (Zechariah 5:5-11)

What was the Prophet talking about 2,500 years ago when he made that prophetic utterance? The ancient land of Shinar, Hebrew for Babylonia, could not have meant the Babylon on the Euphrates River, because at the time of Zechariah's writing (520 BC), Babylon had already been conquered and destroyed in 538 BC, some nineteen years earlier, by the Persians (Daniel 5:30-31).

The "woman," representing "wickedness," was restrained in a basket, to be flown later to the land of Shinar, not ancient Babylon, but "Mystery Babylon," and she would be set there on her "base."

Interestingly, and with symbolic overtones, in 1886, the Statue of Liberty, a "woman" with bare metal toes ("Iron" toes of Daniel 2:42) was brought from France where it had been built to be set on her "base" (which had been built in New York) in New York Harbor.

Thus, in this case, Shinar refers to that New Testament enigma, "Mystery Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Of The Abominations Of The Earth." (Rev. 17:5)

Note that the "woman" of wickedness, a type of Jezebel, King Ahab's wife, is carried by two women having the wings of a stork. The fictional image of the stork carrying the newborn infant to its mother is well known. But in Leviticus 11:19, God calls the stork an "unclean" and forbidden food.

In other words, the two unclean women with stork's wings carry the wicked "woman" at the designated time in the future to a position of power and prominence...

When 1993 was designated the "Year of the Woman," the events of that year revealed a striking duality of prophetic fulfillment: the "harlot" of Revelation 17:5 and the "wicked woman" of Zechariah 5:11 came into prominence in America. Let me show you how.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, champion of the Women's Movement, was carried on the wings of "unclean" storks, to Washington, DC, when her husband assumed the presidency, and was "set there on" her power "base," similar to the Statue of Liberty, the famous "Lady," being set on her "base" when it was ready ...

Mrs. Clinton Supports A Palestinian State

...Hillary Clinton, on May 7, 1998, made her own policy statement on Mideast peace to a youth conference, saying she supports the creation of an independent Palestinian state. That was the first time ever in the history of American Middle East policy that a statement like that came from the White House. Could it be that the "woman" had been released from the "basket of wickedness?"

"I think it will be in the long-term interests of the Middle East for Palestine to be a state," Mrs. Clinton said in a satellite question-and-answer session from Washington, according to a report by the State Department's U.S. Information Service. The first lady called it "very important for the Palestinian people," and for the "broader goal of peace in the Middle East."

The White House said that Mrs. Clinton was expressing her personal views and that U.S. policy is unchanged...

But what really transpired was the old gradually-turn-up-the-heat phenomenon, where the changes come slowly and subtly at each new occurrence until the nation's existing policy gets turned around and the work of the Harlot subtly prevails. After all, how did a civilized Germany become a Fascist regime? Gradually and barely noticeably until it was too late - and the Jews were being gassed and burned in crematoria - for the ostensible good of the state. Will it happen in America next?...

A Wicked Spirit Blowing In America...

... The American "woman" justifies and comforts herself in her heretical leadership position (over men) by embracing all that is, like herself, in opposition to God. Thus, she encouraged a country which had previously been governed by God and the Judeo-Christian ethic to abandon prayer and righteousness and to accept New Age values that give credibility to her own lifestyle - until embracing Islam seems to be right. And an increasing complicity with the Islamic world and blatant opposition to Israel seem okay.

God's Remarkable Intervention

At one point, things got so bad for Israel that God intervened by raising up Newt Gingrich, Speaker of the House, to raise a shield against the White House's fiery darts. At his own news conference, Gingrich said:

"Now it's become the Clinton administration and Arafat against Israel." On Israel's 50th anniversary, he said, "The Clinton administration says 'Happy Birthday. Let us blackmail you on behalf of Arafat.' He sent a letter to Clinton on May 6, 1998, saying that America's most loyal ally in the Middle East 'should not be punished with threats and ultimatums." ...

Gingrich went on to say that "America's strong-arm tactics would send a clear signal to the supporters of terrorism that their murderous actions are an effective tool in forcing concessions from Israel."

Israel On American Tenterhooks

That same spirit which emanates from within the Basket of Wickedness extends its tentacles elsewhere. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright... brought forth new fruit from the Clinton White House.

An article in the June 18, 1998 New York Times entitled, "Albright, in Overture to Iran, Seeks a 'Road Map' to Amity," reported: "Secretary of State Albright called on Iran Wednesday night to join the U.S. in drawing up 'a road map leading to normal relations.' She made the remark as part of the Clinton administration's first comprehensive reply to cautious overtures from Iran's moderate president...

"'Failure to do so would be irresponsible,' she said, insisting that the U.S. had no quarrel with Islam. Albright went out of her way in her speech to demonstrate that the U.S. was not 'anti-Islamic' and that Americans would do well to learn to understand... 'Islamic civilization.'

"'Islam is the fastest-growing religious faith in the U.S.,' she said. 'We respect deeply its moral teachings and its role as a source of inspiration and instruction for hundreds of millions of people around the world.'"

Just one day earlier, an article in the same paper entitled, "Albright Offers New Deal to Iran," reported, "She said the United Nations and other multinational coalitions had countered threats to peace in the Persian Gulf War against Iraq in 1991 and in peacekeeping operations around the world.

"'This global network has grown largely without the Iranian participation,' Albright said. 'But Iran would be welcome if it is willing to make a constructive contribution.'" (Italics added.)

Imagine the blatant lunacy of such an anti-Israel, anti-God move - inviting Iran (terrorists) to be part of the UN's peacekeeping operations! (Iran is Persia in Ezek. 38:5, an ally of the Russian killer, Gog.)

Another New York Times article on June 18, 1998, "Clinton Convinced Iran Changing," reported...

"'What we want is a genuine reconciliation with Iran,' the president said in his most direct comments about ending years of enmity between nations that once were allies. 'We believe Iran is changing in a positive way, and we want to support that.'"

The very next day, on June 19, 1998, the New York Times in an article entitled, "U.S. Criticizes Netanyahu," reported, "The Clinton administration assailed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel on Friday for considering a development plan for Jerusalem designed to attract more Jews to the city.

"Secretary of State Albright conveyed her displeasure to Netanyahu in a telephone call, then contacted about a dozen American Jewish community leaders through a 'conference' call to tell them she was disturbed by the plan...

"Meanwhile, State Department spokesman James P. Rubin publicly issued a scathing condemnation. Calling the plan provocative and insensitive, he said, 'It's difficult to understand' why Netanyahu was considering it."

Imagine! America romances her enemy, Iran, while placing her friend, Israel, on tenterhooks...

An 'Alfred Dreyfus' Warning

In April, the Lord began to speak to me regarding the Dreyfus affair; in other words, "Watch France."

Capt. Alfred Dreyfus, a French Jew, was arrested in October 1894, after a French spy in the German Embassy falsely accused him of being a German spy, for which he was tried and unjustly convicted by the French Government. He was cleared of the charges years later, but the French military justice never reversed its 1898 conviction. The Dreyfus Affair led to an unprecedented wave of anti-Semitism in France which spread into other areas of the world as well.

A new danger for the Jews began to emerge in France, on Tuesday, July 7th. And it was none other than Hillary Clinton who had instigated it.

France Will Recognize Palestine

The Israeli newspaper, Ha'aretz published the story on July 7, 1998 entitled, "France Plans to Recognize Palestine." The article reported, "PARIS - French leaders have decided that France will recognize a Palestinian state as soon as one is declared following the end of the interim agreement between Israel and the Palestinians... Ha'aretz has learned that the decision, which has been kept secret, was made with the agreement of various top officials, including President Jacques Chirac, Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, and Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine.

"Several public hints were made in recent weeks regarding France's preparedness to recognize an independent Palestine as soon as it is declared. Following remarks by U. S. First Lady Hillary Clinton in favor of the principle of two states for two people, Chirac told several people that Mrs. Clinton had shattered the American taboo regarding a Palestinian state, and this should be used to encourage the idea." (Italics added.)

Don't get me wrong, Golda Meir was one of Israel's all time great Prime Ministers. So was Britain's Margaret Thatcher. Women with principles and morals make for great leaders. Jezebels and women with feminist agendas, do not...

The UN Upgrades PLO Status

The UN General Assembly, over the protestations of America, (but it was too little too late because the U.S. had instigated and championed the Oslo peace accords, of which this was the natural result), voted overwhelmingly (124 in favor and 4 - Israel, America, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands - against the Arab sponsored resolution, with 10 abstentions - none of which were major world powers) to upgrade the status of the PLO to that of near statehood.

I believe a deal to create a Palestinian state has already been struck under the auspices of the U.S. between former Prime Minister Rabin and the PLO, and that Netanyahu is trying to slow the process or even stop it. But a Palestinian state is inevitable. God said, "They have parted My land." (Joel 3:2) And when the Middle East Peace Accords are finally confirmed by the False Prophet, the Tribulation Period (the last seven years before the Lord's return) will begin. (Daniel 9:27) But the enemies of Israel (including the U.S.) will have an eternal price to pay.

"Therefore thus says the Lord God: Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations (the UN) and against all Edom (Palestinians), who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with whole-hearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country... Nor will I let you hear the taunts of the nations anymore, nor bear the reproach of the peoples anymore... says the Lord God." (Ezekiel 36:5,15)...

Gog And Armageddon: One Pea In A Pod?

It has been said that we should expect forthwith another war in Israel, that Syria will attack (again), and that it will be the Gog War. Additional teachings have stated that the Gog War happens before the Tribulation Period, that it will be separate and distinct from and will precede the War of Armageddon by at least seven years. I beg to differ. If we carefully examine the prophetic passages relative to "the day of the Lord," I believe we will come to a different conclusion; namely, that the Gog War and the War of Armageddon are the same war.

The ancient prophets of Israel have variously described one final end-time alliance of the Antichrist's World Government armies which include all of the radical fanatical Islamic nations, thus mounting Satan's final massive assault against Israel, the "apple of God's eye." (Zech. 2:8) He thereby attempts to prevent the establishment of God's kingdom in Israel and the Lord Yeshua's return to the Temple Mount. We might call it the Devil's last stand. This article will attempt to establish a clear picture of that elemental position.

In his description of the Gog War, Ezekiel specifically names only five nations as allies of Gog which will attack Israel. But he adds the words, "many people are with you." (38:5-6) I believe that Ezekiel, Joel, Daniel, Zephaniah, Zechariah, John the Revelator and the other prophets each saw the same event from different sides of the supernatural prism, each image with slightly different detail. But each were describing the same giant end-time conflagration: A third world war, complete with inter-continental ballistic missiles which will result in the burning of a sin-ridden America, the "great harlot who sits on many waters." (Rev. 17:5) To make my case, I will use as a frame of reference something that happened to me years ago. (Portions taken from my new book, "While The Fiddler Played, The World Came To An End.")

To the best of my recollection, the day was Saturday, November 12, 1977. The place was The Diplomat Hotel in Jerusalem, Israel, and the event was the Annual Jerusalem World Conference on The Holy Spirit sponsored by Logos Publishing Company where I was ministering with Calvin Marsh, a former featured performer with the Metropolitan Opera. Calvin and I were partners in ministry. With his magnificent bass-baritone voice, he sang Messianic songs that I had composed, and I accompanied him on the piano and did my best to sing plausible harmony. I was terribly nervous because I had only been in ministry a short time - and we were scheduled to minister that evening for the first time before some 3,000 praising saints of God who came to His City to worship Him.

As I prayed in the grand ballroom where we would be ministering, I heard His voice say to me: "I will show these people that you are my prophet." Who? Me? A prophet? This was the first I'd heard of that. Believing that it was probably my imagination, I gave it little more thought... until Monday, November 14, 1977.

It was the next to the last day of our ministry in Jerusalem - before crossing into Jordan to minister at the main Anglican Church. I was seated next to the piano having just performed with Calvin. My eyes were closed. I was listening to one of the eminent conference speakers when suddenly it happened. A vision began to unfold. I fought against it - out of fear - but the Lord put me into a deep trance; it must have been similar to what happened to Peter while he was praying on the roof of Simon the tanner's house in Joppa. (Acts 10:10) In the Spirit, I was transported to a future time and place where I saw thousands upon thousands of horsemen march over the plains of Israel against a distant objective.

"The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run." (Joel 2:4)

They were Caucasians, dressed in black uniforms. I have a photo showing the type of broad brimmed Russian officers' hats which I saw, confirming that they were Russians.

"Then you will come from your place out of the far north (Russia is located, to the far north of Israel), you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army." (Ezek. 38:15)

They were riding on black horses - the vision was in black and white. They had spears at their sides; hordes of soldiers marching in long perfect rows, in flawless symmetry of movement.

"Every one marches in formation. And they do not break ranks. They do not push one another; every one marches in his own column." (Joel 2:7-8)

It was a massive onslaught, like clouds and thick darkness, pressing ever forward over the plains of Israel. I saw the heights of Jerusalem off in the distance ahead of them, beckoning the Russian, Gog, marching toward Mount Zion to vitiate the most extraordinary of all the promises of God, "Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion." (Psalm 2:6)

"You will ascend (up to Jerusalem), coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you." (Ezekiel 38:9)

It was as if it were a wiltingly hot day when waves of heat seem to rise from burning hot asphalt. There they were, shimmering waves upon waves of horsemen (like a cloud) in long columns extending out as far as the horizon, preparing to ascend to Zion - precipitating "a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation;" (Dan. 12:1) "the time of Jacob's trouble." (Jer. 30:7) The historic time when Gog and the nations would make their move to possess the capital city of Israel set atop Mt. Zion like a crown jewel (the most sought after "plunder" of all - Ezekiel 38:12) high up in the Judean hills.

"You will come up against (Jerusalem) My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days (the end of the age), that I (the Lord Himself) will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes. (Ezek. 38:16)

Many have said that because Ezekiel's war is fought in the "mountains of Israel" (Ezek. 38:21; 39:4), it cannot be Armageddon which is fought in the Jezreel valley and Jerusalem. But in my vision, Gog's army was ascending from the plains below to the heights of Jerusalem; one continuous battle.

Jerusalem is in the mountains. Joel says to "sound an alarm in My holy mountain"( Joel 2:1) which is 2,500 feet above sea level in the Judean hills - originally the habitat of the Jebusites from which king David captured it in 1048 BC (Joshua 11:3; 2 Sam. 5:6); part of Ezekiel's "ancient heights." (Ezek. 36:2) My point is that the valley of Megiddo on the edge of the Jezreel plain is only the starting point of the Armageddon/Gog War. Note the similarity of Ezekiel's imagery with that of Joel's which was written a little over 200 years earlier.

"A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; (Russia, the most powerful military force on earth today) nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations." (Joel 2:2)

These descriptions are quite similar - the cloud covering over the land. Another similarity is quite apparent: the Lord Himself draws the enemy against His own people.

"Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses and horsemen..." (Ezekiel 38:2-4)

"I will also gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land." (Joel 3:2)

Thus, in both cases, the Lord is the One who draws the enemies of Israel to punish them; in Ezekiel, to the "mountains of Israel" (38:8) and in Joel to the "Valley of Jehoshaphat." (Actually, there is no Valley of Jehoshaphat in Israel - it simply means "God will judge." But there is a place called Har Megiddo in Hebrew which is the location of the valley of Megiddo and Mount Megiddo from which the word Armageddon is derived - Rev. 16:16). This is the place where God will gather the nations to judge them; in Ezekiel and Joel - and in Zechariah - drawing the nations against Jerusalem. (Zech. 14:2)

Israel is a small land so that if the point of initial attack is in the Valley of Megiddo, which is not nearly large enough to contain the armies of the nations, Jerusalem is but a short distance away by rapidly advancing tank warfare. Remember in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Israel almost could not repel the rapid tank advance mounted against her. A similar state of affairs will probably exist in the Gog/Armageddon War. Thus, where the prophet identifies a particular locale, I believe that the battle will overflow from there in every direction throughout the tiny land. I do not think, therefore, that we can say these are two separate wars based upon a particular prophet's designation of locale.

Now let's look at what I believe to be the same war from yet another perspective - written almost 900 years after Joel's prophecy, 700 years after Ezekiel's and 600 after Zechariah's - where this same Russian enemy of God along with his Muslim counterparts, is beckoned by God Himself to attack, which will ultimately result in the Lord's return and the national salvation of Israel and the Jewish people (Zech. 12:10; 13:1)

"When He (the Lamb of God) opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come and see. And another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword." (Rev. 6:3-4)

Note the same phenomena: God draws the enemy against His people. I believe that this Red Horseman is the same enemy; the Russian, Gog. I also believe that he is described by Daniel as "another horn, a little one" (Dan. 7:8) and in Revelation as "the beast" (Rev. 13:1); the great end-time warrior of whom the prophet says, "Who is able to make war with him?" (Rev. 13:4)

A revived Russian war machine - of the restored Communist-type Empire - indisputably the most powerful army in the world - albeit of an impoverished regime that appears "as if it had been mortally wounded," but note that "his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast;" (Rev. 13:3) posthumously, this Russian charismatic leader and system over which he rules, empowered by his old cronies, "ten horns" (Rev. 17:12) which are the newly birthed Russian republics - the "clay" element in Daniel's "toes of the feet." (Dan. 2:44) These ten mostly Islamic republics had "received no kingdom as yet" when John wrote his Revelation. (Rev. 17:12) Their present fundamentalist Muslim propensities are in many cases restrained by their present governments - this will change with Gog's rise to power. These ten are among the "many people" who are with Gog and his enumerated confederacy of Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer and Togarmah (Ezek. 38:5-6) when he comes against Israel - presumably a United Nations "peacemaking" mandate.

Observe that these republics fit the scriptural requirement for the "ten horns" in Revelation 17:12: They only came into existence as nations when the USSR collapsed.

"And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings (kingdoms) who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast." (Rev. 17:12)

But Spain, Gaul (France), Germany, Italy, Britain, etc. were already kingdoms which were captured by and subordinated to the Roman Empire. These old kingdoms, members of the present day European Union, had already received their authority. They do not, therefore, fit the scriptural requirement essential to the universally accepted revived Roman Empire theory. Dinosaurs can't be squeezed into sugar bowls; they don't fit. The rules of prophecy simply do not permit that.

So then, when the Communist Empire fell in 1991, the USSR was dissolved and these initially ten republics (which presently have become twelve, several of which possess nuclear weapons) became nations for the first time in history and joined Yeltsin's Commonwealth of Independent States (the "CIS").

As my vision continued, I also saw a cloud of Arabs dressed in gray robes and headdresses. They were riding gray Arabian horses, marching with the Russians against Jerusalem. Remembering the vision makes my blood chill, realizing that international events and Muslim terrorism have spiraled out of control since 1977, and that today the world has been primed for just such an awful assault against the Jewish State and people as I saw way back then. And the "peace talks" which are presently underway between Arabs and Jews will ultimately result in "a covenant" which will itself, after awhile, serve as a catalyst to bring about this awful conflagration. This alliance of the Russian, Gog, with his United Nations sanctioned anti-Israel Arab confederacy (along with the other "many people are with you" nations) constitutes the alliance of the rider on the red horse and the Islamic pale (gray) horse.

"When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come and see. And I looked, and behold, a pale (gray, Arabian) horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death ("a god of fortresses" - Allah Akbar - Dan. 11:38) and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts (terrorists - men who act like beasts) of the earth." (Rev. 6:7-8)

In researching the subject of these ten Islamic states, I made the most amazing discovery. All but one of the original ten republics of the CIS were located in the satrapies of the old Persian Empire either in whole or in part. Even the toes of Russia extended down into the Persian Empire. They therefore have feet "like the feet of a bear." (Rev. 13:2) Is it any wonder that the bear was used as a symbol for the now deceased Soviet Union?

When John refers to the beast with the "feet of a bear," he's dovetailing his prophecy in Rev. 13:2 with Daniel 7:5 to announce the very place from whence the Antichrist/Little Horn/Beast's feet will enter the world scene.

Parenthetically, I'd like to add that many hundreds of years after the Messiah's ascension, due to Emperor Constantine's conversion to Christianity, the Eastern division of the Holy Roman Empire was established with it's headquarters in Constantinople. The Roman Empire had thus split into the Western and Eastern divisions. The Eastern division which was located to some minor extent in the land area of the old Persian Empire survived about a thousand years after the Western division was conquered in 476 AD. The Eastern division is also known as the Byzantine Empire which beginning around 957 AD spread Christianity and Byzantine culture into Russia, and by looking at historic maps, possibly also into the Ukraine and Moldava, three of the member nations of the CIS.

Starting around 989 AD, mass conversion of the Russian people by Byzantine missionaries followed with the establishment of an official Russian Church subordinate to the patriarch of Constantinople. Thus there is a strong nexus between the Eastern (Byzantine) division of the Roman Empire and the Russian Orthodox church, the major church denomination in modern day Russia. Since the Roman Catholic Church had its roots in the Holy Roman Empire which was then divided into Western and Eastern divisions, the Russian Orthodox church which came out of the Eastern division is also largely an outgrowth of the Roman Catholic church.

The point that I'm making is the fact that the Russian Gog, also the Beast of Rev. 13:1, makes his alliance with the False Prophet (Rev. 13:11) from Rome, a Pope, and this marks the historic re-alliance of the Western and Eastern divisions of the Holy Roman Empire: the Catholic church of the West with the Russian Orthodox church of the East. Already the attempt at fusion has begun, instigated by the present Pope, John Paul.

But interestingly, talk of a New Age alliance between Catholicism, Judaism, and Islam - a "brotherhood of men" - has been the subject of Rome's preachments of late. Beware Christians! The Bible warns against being unequally yoked. The trap has been set for the great "falling away." But this is another subject.

At the time of this writing, the CIS still has twelve member nationalistic republics which are only weakly linked together. They are: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldava, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Kirghizia, Kazakhstan and Georgia. According to my research, only Belarus has no part of its territory located in the land area of the ancient Persian Empire. And Belarus is presently trying desperately to fuse again with mother Russia.

"Persia, Ethiopia (which probably includes the present day Sudan and maybe Algeria as well), and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer (the Germanic peoples) and all its troops; the house of Togarmah (Armenia, others in the CIS, Pakistan, etc.) from the far north and all its troops - many people are with you. Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them." (Ezekiel 38:5-7)

"He (the Antichrist/Little Horn/Gog - Gog War/Armageddon) shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians (same as Ezek. 38:5-6) shall follow at his heels." (Dan. 11:43)

I suggest that if Gog and his hordes are totally decimated in the Ezekiel war - and Libya and Ethiopia are with him - is it not safe to assume that if the Gog War came before Armageddon in time, and if the whole kit and caboodle were "fed to the birds of prey" (39:4) and Israel shall be burying them for 7 years (Ezek. 39:9), how in the world do Libya and Ethiopia get put back together again - so that they can attack Israel once more (in the War of Armageddon) - in such a limited time span? It's an unlikely scenario. To quote an old nursery rhyme, "all the kings horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again," and neither could the Devil put these two fundamentalist Islamic nations as well as all the other nations named in the Gog War back together again in time for a repeat performance seven years later at the end of the Tribulation to fight the War of Armageddon.

And doesn't Ezekiel say, "This is the day of which I have spoken?" (39:8) What could he be talking about if not "the day of the Lord?" Yes, indeed God has spoken of it over and over through mostly all of His prophets; yes, even through Yeshua himself (Matt. 24:21). One historic day! One historic war! One historic evil king who, among other plunder, seeks "silver and gold" in both Ezek. 38:13 and Daniel 11:43 - another similarity.

In 630 BC, the prophet Zephaniah when speaking of "the day of the Lord" (Zeph.1:7) certainly Armageddon, said that "the whole land (of Israel) shall be devoured." (vv.1:18) He also says - just as in the Gog War - that "You Ethiopians also, you shall be slain by My sword." (vv.2:12) And he also says (vv.11) that in this war, "He will reduce to nothing... all the shores of the nations." (See the similarities in Ezek. 39:6; Rev. 16:20; and 18:9,18)

"Thus says the Lord God: Are you (Gog) he of whom I have spoken in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?" (Ezek. 38:17)

When Ezekiel wrote these words about the earlier prophets of Israel who had spoken of this man who he identified as Gog, what prophets could he have been thinking about? None of them had ever mentioned a man by the name of Gog. Why? Because it is symptomatic of the Jewish prophets that they speak in a kind of shorthand that would be easily understood by their people.

When Ezekiel said, "My servant David, He shall feed them and be their shepherd," (Ezek 34:23) he was clearly referring not to David, but to the Son of David, the Messiah. And when he spoke of Gog, he was speaking about the same awful end-time enemy of the Jewish people that almost every other Hebrew prophet had talked about at one time or another; this great and fierce enemy of the Jewish people who would be drawn down supernaturally to attack them in the "day of the Lord;" but they had all identified him a little differently - with different names.

The proofs are clear. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Zechariah, Zephaniah and most of the others pointed to this end-time killer - called out for the Devil's last stand! And Gog is the name given by God to Ezekiel to describe the man who would lead a future international confederacy of Islamic nations from the area of the Black and Caspian seas, the Middle East and North Africa; Indo-European peoples, Europeans as well as those yet unnamed nations of the world who would espouse the Gog/Islamic cause against Israel (and all Jews) and against those Christians who stand with the chosen people in their hour of need.

Gog is probably just a fictitious name, a generic name referring to the last and most evil ruler to come against Israel in the last days to stage the greatest of all wars just before Messiah returns to crush the last Gentile Kingdom of Daniel and establish His own Kingdom "cut out of the mountain without hands." (Dan. 2:45). Daniel referred to him as the "little horn," and as the "king" (11:36) who would "do according to his own will," who would "exalt and magnify himself above every god" and "speak blasphemies against the God of gods," and would prosper until the wrath had been accomplished." This evil man would honor the god of fortresses (Allah), and a god which his fathers did not know (vv 38) - Maybe he'll be Jewish, maybe Christian, maybe neither.

A New York Times article of November 4, 1991 entitled, "IN FIRST ONE-ON-ONE MEETING, ISRAELIS AND PALESTINIANS AGREE TO DISCUSS SELF-RULE," stated, "In finally getting the participants around the table, Mr. Baker, the architect of these talks, has made a fundamental contribution to the Arab-Israeli peace process. He has bestowed upon Anwar el-Sadat, the late Egyptian President, a belated triumph that should not be forgotten. Fourteen years ago, after pioneering the first face-to-face Arab negotiations with Israel, Mr. Sadat predicted that one day his fellow Arabs would follow him. Today they did."

Fourteen years previous to article, on Monday, November 14, 1977, a most eventful day in my life, God had given me the vision of the great end-time war. A few days later, President Anwar el-Sadat announced his historic peace-making trip to Israel to meet with then Prime Minister Begin. And the vision that God gave to me began to be implemented.

As I reflect on the meaning of that vision, I believe that God was saying, "The time of the end is beginning." I believe that the historic signing of the peace agreement at Camp David in 1979 between Egypt and Israel was the first component and initiated the process which would in a several more years lead to that "covenant" described in Daniel 9:27.

That "covenant," the Middle East Peace Accords, when concluded between Israel and the Arab nations, will be confirmed by the latter day "prince" from Rome, the False Prophet, the rider on the White Horse of Revelation 6:1-2 - a Pope from the Roman Catholic church (although this Pope is probably too old), who looks like the Lamb of God but speaks like a dragon (false doctrine; Rev. 13:11; 19:20) And when he confirms (not makes) the Middle East Peace Accords, then the Tribulation Period, also known as the 70th Week of Daniel - the last seven years before "the end of the age" - will commence.

The second component of the Middle East Peace Covenant fell into place on September 13, 1993 in Washington, D.C. when the Declaration of Principles between the PLO and Israel was signed, and the third and fourth components came in 1995 with signed agreements between Jordan, Morocco and Israel.

Indeed, that 1977 vision was the dawn of the day when men would begin saying "peace and safety," but there would be no peace and no safety. Instead there is peril, and "sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night." (l Thess. 5:2-3)

To recapitulate, the Gog/Armageddon War is the one war described by all the prophets which will be instituted by the Lord God Himself at the final hour to settle the score with the nations that abused Israel.

The Four Chariots of the End-Times
(Abridged Version)

"I looked up again - and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains - mountains of bronze. The first chariot had red horses, the second black, the third white, and the fourth dappled - all of them powerful. I asked the angel who was speaking to me, 'What are these, my Lord?' The angel answered me, 'These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.' When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, 'Go throughout the earth!' So they went throughout the earth. Then he said, 'Look, those going toward the north country have given my spirit rest in the land of the north.'" (Zech. 6:1-8)

A Horse Of A Different Color

Four different colored horses are being sent forth from God's throne room in heaven: red, black, dappled (gray) and white - to pull their respective chariots.

Zechariah being the preeminent Messianic prophet, his prophecies are largely, but not exclusively, concerned with events surrounding the return of Messiah Yeshua to His Temple - which will be built despite the protestations of the Palestinians who lay claim to His land and His Temple Mount in Jerusalem which, believe it or not, He gave to Israel forever, as an everlasting possession.

It is the purpose of this Gazette to show that the above- referenced "chariots-prophecy" principally addresses current events which are being played out in America and elsewhere, and to help our readers understand the underlying whys and wherefores.

The four chariots are the same as the four horsemen of Revelation 6:1-8 (with some possible historical applications which are not relevant to our discussion) released at the end of the age by Yeshua, the Lamb of God, to "destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms," including America (Haggai 2:22), and to start the process of establishing His kingdom on this earth (Dan. 2:44-45). What is presently happening would surprise most Christians who are in a dither over Y2K - when far graver matters are afoot.

"Even the stork in the heavens knows her appointed times; and the turtledove, the swift, and the swallow observe the time of their coming. But my people do not know the judgment of the Lord." (Jeremiah 8:7)

Zechariah beheld "four chariots," each of which were drawn by horses of a different color - the same colors with parallel symbolism as the four horsemen of Revelation. What did Zechariah's vision mean? What do the chariots represent? Is it applicable to us today? Dramatically!

Chariots, Instruments of Divine Judgment

"Chariots" scripturally are instruments of divine judgment. They are God's instruments of judgment against the godless nations of the world who have arrayed themselves against Israel. If we told this to the United Nations or the US government, they would laugh at us.

The online Jerusalem Post of September 24, 1998, in an article entitled, "PA to Seek Support for Statehood at UN" reports, "UNITED NATIONS - The Palestinians are expected to push for statehood and full membership, as well as to challenge Israel's credentials, in the newly opened session of the UN General Assembly. The first prominent statement of support for the Palestinians during this session came Monday, when Iranian President Khatami said that peace and security in the Middle East can prevail only when all Palestinians have the right to exercise 'sovereignty over their ancestral homeland.'"

Witness the arrogant lies of a galloping "pale horseman," as he seeks to crush his enemy, Israel! (See Ezek. 38:5) The article continues:

"The Palestinian challenge to Israeli credentials contends that Israeli credentials do not cover the occupied territories, including Jerusalem. This already won the support of the Non-Aligned Movement at its meeting last month in Durban, South Africa." (Italics added.)

Already the Palestinians are whipping up tongues of flaming propaganda against Israel and turning Jerusalem into "a cup of drunkenness" at the United Nations and elsewhere. (Zech. 12:2) And as I write this Gazette, hurricane Georges is bearing down upon the nation that instigated the whole thing.

Arafat intends to declare in the United Nations a Palestinian state in Gaza, Samaria and Judea with Jerusalem as its capital - land that God gave to Israel. Arafat could not even dream of doing this had the Clinton Administration not set the stage.

Remember how Hillary Clinton - we wrote about it in the July Gazette publicly favored the establishment of a Palestinian State? Need anyone ask why judgments are happening in America, particularly the judgment of political demise? Indeed! And the UN and America both would laugh at us even as Pharaoh laughed at Moses when he warned him of the plagues to come. They might listen, however, if it were the Islamic Ayatollah warning them. America doesn't know what god to believe in anymore. That's the crux of the matter. And that's the giveaway as to America's identity.

Mystery Babylon Shall Sink And Not Rise Again

"Thus Babylon shall sink and not rise from the catastrophe that I will bring upon her." (Jeremiah 51:64)

America, the spiritual and sexual harlot and mystical Babylon of Scripture (Rev. 17:5), is driving Israel into a "covenant with death" (Isa. 28:15) - an alliance with the radical Islamic Palestinian riders on the "pale horse" - "And the name of him who sat on it was Death" (Rev. 6:8)

This conduct, the constant pressure against Israel, has motivated God to send His galloping chariots to our shores; to drive big, fat, rich immoral America, the ultimate rider on the "black horse" (Rev. 6:5), from its high and mighty position as the one world superpower.

"The Great, the Mighty God, whose name is the Lord of hosts. You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings." (Jeremiah 32:18-19)

I say immoral because our fallen President has exposed a greater malady in America, a "falling away" from righteousness (2 Thess. 2:3). This is more significant than the adultery and lies committed by Clinton: A populace that doesn't care. The polls tell the ugly story. Beware, this will cause America's destruction, just as it did Rome's.

The "mystery" of just who is the Biblical "Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth" is gone. (Rev. 17:5) Now we know for a certainty.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" (Isaiah 5:20)

Bronze Mountains

Zechariah's four chariots come out from between "two mountains." Mountains in Scripture are symbolic of eternal continuance, stability, of difficult, dangerous, wearisome paths in life, of seemingly insurmountable obstacles that must be overcome by the servants of God. (Zech. 4:7) They are also standard Biblical fare for monolithic heathen kingdoms, nations, empires, governments or political systems. (Rev. 17:9)

But what do these mountains mean in the present context and how do they affect our lives today?

They represent two opposing Gentile (heathen) world powers at two separate polarities: one, the most powerful, wealthy, industrial democratic iron empire in the world and, the other, the most powerful, burnt out, poor but weapons-rich, non-industrial clay empire in the world - the Communistic "Beast;" (Rev. 13:1) together, constituting the iron and clay "toes of the feet" (Dan. 2:42-45) both of which immediately precede the establishment of the kingdom of God on this earth. They are the two strongest world powers in existence just prior to the advent of the Messianic Age - the Millennium: None other than the opposing empires of America and Russia.

But why are these mountains constituted of bronze? Because bronze, an alloy of copper and tin which is stronger than iron, is made in the furnace - extreme heat is required for the process; thus, a scriptural symbol of fiery divine judgment!

Thus God is showing through Zechariah's prophecy that in our time, the last moment before the return of the Messiah to establish His Messianic Kingdom in Jerusalem, He would bring forth His fiery judgment from betwixt and behind two monolithic polarities - one, the Yeltsin Russia and the other, the Clinton America.

For this reason, He uses the imagery of a first chariot with "red horses," a symbol of bloodshed and of revived Communism in Russia, resurrected from its death-like appearance (Rev. 13:3), and achieving once again a position of worldwide power. In an axis with the White and the Dappled charioteers, this revived Red beast would bring opprobrium to the people of God and staunch opposition to His coming kingdom.

"Kremlin Brings Gorbachev Economic Team Back"

The September 15, 1998 online New York Times, in an article entitled, "In Hour of Crisis, Kremlin Brings Gorbachev Economic Team Back," reports, "MOSCOW -- Summoned back from a decade of obscurity, a group of Gorbachev-era economists on Monday stood outside the gates of the Russian government building, awaiting their turn to give advice on how to rescue a floundering economy. Ten years ago, these men were the talking heads of Perestroika, the name given to reforms launched by then- Soviet President Gorbachev - which in due course, led to the collapse of communism and the end of the Soviet Union. On Monday, they joined the alumni of Gorbachev's varsity squad who find themselves back at the center of Russia's economic policy debate. Russia's new prime minister, a top economic aide and the new head of the central bank, all served under Gorbachev."

"I saw one of his (the beast's) heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed." (Rev. 13:3)

The names of the revived Communists are Prime Minister Yevgeni Primakov, and his top deputy for economic affairs, Yuri Maslyukov. In addition to these two are three former top advisers to Gorbachev, Leonid Abalkin, Nikolai Petrakov and Oleg Bogomolov. I suspect that we may see Mr. Gorbachev himself re-emerging along with Alexander N. Yakovlev, his principal ideologist in Perestroika and Glastnost.

Also re-emerging, unfortunately, is virulent anti-Semitism which, fortunately, will succeed in re-awakening the interest of Russian Jews to flee to Israel.

The Black Horses Of Poverty

The second chariot had "black horses," the scriptural symbol of great poverty. They were going "toward the north country," which is Russia. The falling Russian ruble and the failing Russian economy is the striking evidence of the visitation of the "black horse." This phenomenon precipitates the arrival of the "red horse," the beginnings of the failure of democracy in Russia and a reversion to its former communist ideology.

But this in turn has also been one of the major motivators of the decline of the US stock market and eventually, the good old American dollar, the anchor of the world's monetary systems. (That's why I call America the principal rider on the Black Horse, the indicator and precipitator of worldwide poverty).

And as I have been saying in The Jeremiah Gazette for sometime now, we can expect to see the great American Wall Street "bull" overturned and a stock market collapse possibly around January 1999. The failures of the Russian, Asian, European and South American markets will kick off America's collapse.

Thus, unrighteous America, the rider on the Black Horse, will inherit Russia's woes, and will cause the already slipping world markets to collapse "in toto," with a resultant shift of power to a revived communistic Russia.

The White Horses of False Religion

That collapse will cause men to reach out to religion for solace but many will grab hold of Rome and will reap only the whirlwind. That's why the third chariot which was pulled by "white horses" went "toward the west," toward Rome. They, being white, appear pure and holy, but are hardly so - but really represent, according to the Scriptures, a "false prophet" from the Vatican who looks "like a lamb and spoke like a dragon." (Rev. 13:11)

He will have the appearance of purity but will speak false doctrines of: idol worship, Jerusalem an International City of Peace, Brotherhood of Jews, Christians and Muslims, etc.; politically correct but biblically in error. The White Horseman will confirm, when concluded, in Jerusalem, the false Mideast peace covenant (Dan. 9:27) between Israel and her enemies, the sons of Esau.

The Dappled Horses Of Terrorism and Death

And finally, the fourth chariot is drawn by the "dappled horses:" gray - symbolic, as we discussed above, of the merciless, inhuman, radical, fundamentalist Muslim "beasts of the earth" who come with "sword" to kill "a fourth of the earth." (Rev. 6:8) A renewed Islamic Empire, similar to the Ottoman Empire, again striving for world domination, but this time not just in Asia, Europe and Africa, but on every continent.

It is noteworthy that these horses are going "toward the south" - Africa - where the American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were recently bombed by Islamic terrorists. His activity originates "toward the south," the general location of the majority of the Islamic players.

The September 18, 1998 online New York Times in an article entitled, "No Response From Iran on US Offer," demonstrates the "dappled horse" agenda which is pregnant with hidden surprises even for the leader of the free world.

"WASHINGTON -- Iran's Muslim fundamentalist government has failed to respond to overtures from the Clinton administration for improving relations, but US interest in a dialogue was reaffirmed Friday by the State Department. And while the United States is looking for changes in Iran's policies, 'We have never made a change in their behavior a prerequisite for a meeting, and we're not changing that view,' spokesman James P. Rubin said."

And Iran is Israel's declared enemy; at the United Nations and in Ezekiel 38:5, where Iran is Persia who forms an alliance with Russia to attack Israel in the final Gog War, the Third World War - Armageddon.

And America will suffer increasing wounds by the very sword of Islam that it forced upon Israel - in forcing Israel to bare her soft underbelly to terrorists at the peace table.

The Lamb's Empowerment

Why then does the Lamb of God open these seals and invite such vast destruction upon His earth? Is that wisdom? Look at it this way. After two thousand years since He died for our sins, He finally gets to implement His plan of worldwide salvation, and the punishment of those who have violated His people, Israel - His brothers, the Jews.

"Look, those going toward the north country have given My spirit rest in the land of the north." They have given His Spirit rest because He takes great satisfaction in righteous judgment against Russia - for the pogroms, the abuse, the captivity and the hatred of His Jewish children from the time of the Diaspora to now when its ugly presence is re-emerging.

Once again Russia will blame the Jews within its borders for its deepening economic malaise. And imminent is the arrival on the scene of its final leader, Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal (Ezek. 38:2) into a time which is accurately called, "the time of Jacob's trouble" (Jer. 30:7), during which Israel will have no friends except for her God and Deliverer!

Yes, these spirit-horsemen have initiated God's judgment against an increasingly evil world and it is pleasing in His slow-to-anger sight.

God has been long-suffering and has waited to punish those nations that have hurt "the apple of His eye." And because America has instigated renewed worldwide anti-Semitism by her treatment of Israel, which will lead to Armageddon as surely as anti-Semitism previously led to the Holocaust, the US will pay dearly.

"And the ten horns (ten republics of the CIS) which you saw on the Beast, (the Russian Antichrist) these will hate the Harlot (America), make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh (devour her economic system) and burn her with fire (nuclear attack)." (Rev. 17:16)

According to how the nations treat Israel, they will receive either mercy or judgment at the hands of a jealous God. And for their own good, I pray that they will say to Israel, as the true Christians have already done, the humble and reverent words of Ruth:

"Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God." (Ruth 1:16)

May God bless you and strengthen you for the days ahead in this, "The Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego Generation."

The Goose That Cooked Itself

I will tell you a parable the Lord gave me about a goose that cooked itself. A story as curious as the one about the ship that somehow got into that little bottle on my Grandmother's mantle. How did that ship get in there, anyway?

I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Your goose is cooked." Well, once upon a time there was a make-believe goose that at first laid a golden egg. He was rather an arrogant goose, a young upstart, haughty and high-minded, who thought he knew everything and could do anything he wanted, no matter how bad. He went around tooting his own horn, something my father always warned me not to do. Was he ashamed about the abominations he had committed? No! He was not at all ashamed; nor did he know how to blush.

Our goose, whom we shall arbitrarily call Willy, lived on a very large farm owned by Farmer Joshua. It was the most beautiful farm you ever saw, with cattle and lambs and rolling hills and valleys. There were golden meadows, green pastures and crystal clear streams of pure running water, luscious fruit trees of every kind and flocks of geese, swans, ducks and the most incredible prize hens that farmer Joshua loved above all... and one persnickety goose.

Right next door, there was a not-so-lovely, rather unkempt farm owned by the jealous farmer, Big Daddy Al... ah, we'll just call him Big Al for short. His farm was also very large but was filled with rocks, cactus, weeds and dust blowing in the wind. Wolves, jackals, hyenas, jackasses and foxes roamed freely over his land. He was always envious of Farmer Joshua's lovely land but especially of the beautiful hill upon which Joshua had placed the chicken coop for his most prized hens.

Many times Big Al would send his packs of jackals, jackasses and hyenas onto Farmer Joshua's lands to capture that hill, to expand his authority over Joshua, and build a coven there for his creatures. But Joshua would always outwit him and expel the encroachers. Big Al got madder and madder! Enter our goose, slick Willy.

Scripture says, "The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master's crib" (Isa.1:3), but this naughty goose did not know nor did he consider his Master's wishes - or the consequences of his buffoonery, his disobedience.

There was a wily old fox, Wazir, who was sent by Big Al to skulk around the hen house where Farmer Joshua kept his prize hens. This is where Willy delighted in taking his daily walks.

Old Wazir was up to no good and Farmer Joshua knew it. He had warned Mister Goose to stay away from that sly old fox, but to no avail. "I know better than Farmer Joshua," said the goose to himself. Apparently, Willy hadn't heard the old saying that disobedience - or rebellion - against Farmer Joshua's will, was like witchcraft.

Well, Mister Goose plotted a sneaky scheme one black Tuesday with Mister Fox behind Farmer Joshua's back and behind the coop. Wazir had tricked him into fooling the chickens, with whom he had developed a tight relationship, to abandon their coop so Big Al could build a coven for his foxes.

You see, Wazir had agreed, but never intended, to make Willy famous for all the world to see, which he wanted more than anything, to go down in goose history. Well sir, he wouldn't need it anyway; not where he was going. He just didn't know that in the time that it takes a pig to snort, he would disappear from the world's stage. Whoosh!

Well, that hungry old fox ate the silly goose for breakfast. It wasn't Farmer Joshua's fault, so don't blame him. Willy had cooked his own goose - so to speak. Don't say he wasn't warned. And then Big Al got to build his coven for all his little foxes in place of the chicken coop.

Fortunately, the prize chickens escaped. Then one day, Farmer Joshua, being so angry with that Wazir, sent hounds after him, Big Al, and the whole coven of foxes to destroy them. First the goose, then the fox(es), and finally Big Al got their eternal come-uppance. But that's the end of the story, and I don't want to go there... yet. I call it the fox and the hounds.

Another Black Tuesday

And now, a real life story mirroring my parable unfolded at the White House in Washington, DC. It was on another black Tuesday; March 23, 1999, that a wily old fox, Yasser Arafat, met with President Clinton, whose identity in the parable shall remain open to your own interpretation.

Yasser sought a guarantee from the president that if he agreed to postpone from May 4, 1999 to some future date, the declaration of a Palestinian state, on the land where Farmer Joshua had built a coop for his chickens, he would get official help from the president to establish his state (a coven for Big Al) on the land belonging to the prize chickens.

The 3/23/99 New York Times reported, "Part of the meeting was spent in the company of aides. The rest of the time, Clinton and Arafat were alone." I wonder what Clinton said to him in private.

The 3/24/99 NY Post added, "At the White House, neither side would give any details of the Clinton-Arafat huddle."

The Word of the Lord to me on March 25, 1999 was that Clinton had made a secret "impartation."

"The Lord... will bring to light the hidden things of darkness." (1 Cor. 4:5) "For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed." (Luke 12:2)

An article on March 28, 1999 in The Arutz-7 Daily News from Israel stated, "It has now been learned that the European Union's stance in support of a Palestinian state was coordinated with the US after secret negotiations between the two. The Europeans asserted last week that the Palestinians continue to merit 'the undeniable right of self-determination,' including the right to a state."

The words, "undeniable right of self-determination," sound strikingly similar to those being used to justify the attacks against the Serbs in Kosovo and throughout the Balkans. The whole story in Kosovo is not being told in the media. It is the modus operandi for Muslims to invade and take over other people's land - witness the Palestinian displacement of Jews in Judea and Samaria.

America has aligned itself with the Europeans who want to appease the Muslims. Note well that this is another example of the extraordinary and rapid expansion of the domain of the Islamic rider on the Gray Horse of Revelation 6:7-8. The Gray Horse is galloping across the world with a major deception, as my book explains, and Europe and America are succumbing and surrendering.

The Arutz-7 article substantiates slick Willy's evil intentions which fly in the face of the recent congressional resolutions that stated emphatically the US opposition to the declaration of a Palestinian state, and shows the danger of having an anti-God, and even anti-Semitic, liar in the White House.

The 3/24/99 NY Post added a triple exclamation point when they reported, "In a slight departure from the usual protocol, Clinton personally saw Arafat off at the West Wing door of the White House and shook hands with the entire Palestinian team before Arafat spoke to reporters near his limousine."

Imagine: A head of state, Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel, was not even invited to the White House, while Arafat who is not even a head of state is given a hero's send-off.

But the Lord supplied His own exclamation points: Stocks fell sharply Tuesday, the day of the visit - the Dow fell 218.68 points. Interestingly, the last time Arafat came to Washington to attend the President's prayer breakfast on 2/4/99 (at which Netanyahu was also excluded), the Nasdaq composite was hit with the third-biggest point loss in its history.

In open defiance against the Master's declared wishes, President Clinton edges daily closer to endorsing the fox's covetous demands, by promising "Peace, peace" to the gullible hens in the Master's hen house.

"Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely. They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, saying, 'Peace, peace!' when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them, they shall be cast down, says the Lord." (Jeremiah 6:13-15)

The Fox And The Hounds

And now the end of our story. The Master rescued his little flock of prize hens, "His peculiar treasure" (Psalm 135:4), from those who say "Peace, peace! when there is no peace," just to wrench His gift to them away from them. They, being silly hens, forgot His Biblical admonition and relinquished their serenity - the security of their coop - and gave it away in reliance on the promises of the ostensibly friendly goose, Willy.

Well, Willy, who bamboozled them for his own recognition, cooked his own goose when he was eaten by the Wazir, who was eaten by the Master's hounds, a ferocious lot. And Big Al was thrown into a lake of fire where you can still hear his screams to this very day. (Rev. 20:10)

But the Master saved his prize hens outright and gave them back their coop. They wept and blessed him for his faithfulness and forgiveness.

As they wept, they cried out to him, "Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord."

Israel, The Lord's Imperishable Chickens

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see Me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord." (Matthew 23:37-39)

And what's Clinton's motivation anyway? Oil-dollars? Favor with the Muslims and Europeans? Worldwide recognition as the Greatest Peacemaker? The bait that he uses to get his reward is Israel's land which their Master gave to them. And who would dare to take it from them?! Greedy politicians who refuse to be ashamed of their ignominy!

The "Peace, peace" that Clinton and the Palestinians are promising to Israel in return for this giveaway is fake. Prime Minister Netanyahu already lost his government because of it - just like Prime Minister Shamir earlier lost his at the hands of President Bush. As a consequence, Bush lost his bid for a second term in office. What will Clinton lose?

And Arafat and others like him such as the European Union, the United Nations and the Vatican, all exhort that old fox and support him in his God-less demands. Clinton is the principal mover, shaker and motivator requiring Israel (at Oslo, Hebron, Wye and wherever else - along with President Bush before him) to convey their land to those who hate her in return for their useless, illusory promise of peace, which is no better than the paper it is written on.

And at this very time, Martin Indyk, Clinton's Assistant Secretary of State, is busily trying to wheedle and cajole Lebanon-occupying Syria to make peace with Israel and occupy another portion of her land - the Golan Heights which God gave to Israel as an inheritance (Deut. 4:43- 44). Imagine all of these guys who are right now saying, "What! Me worry?" standing before God's great white throne judgment saying, "Who, me?"

Did You Know That?

The Clinton Administration is holding up the transfer of $1.2 billion in special aid promised to Israel upon the signing of the Wye accord last October. However, the Palestinian Authority will get the $400 million a year in aid pledged to it by the US. Prior to the Wye accord, the PA received $100 million a year. The special assistance to the Palestinians, who in Washington's assessment have fulfilled their part of the Wye accord, will be made available to the PA. Israel, however, was accused of shirking it's obligations under the accord. But the Israeli Government Press Office issued a document February 2, 1999 showing the truth of 9 separate major areas of Palestinian non-compliance with the Wye River Memorandum. The gravest of all of the Palestinians' breaches was their threat to declare statehood on land over which Israel had only agreed through Oslo to extend to them the right of self-determination.

The unrighteous deeds of the American president are a vexation to those who love God's Word, but we know that in the end, God will set His King upon His holy hill of Zion, and Messiah will rule a peaceful world from His Temple in Jerusalem (not the Dome of the Rock!). Until then, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem in the name of Messiah Yeshua.

The Times We Live In: A Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego Generation

While in captivity in Babylon, Daniel tells the story of the three brave Hebrew men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego. The heroic behavior they exhibited will soon be required of the people of God.

These men honored the God of Israel by refusing to obey the legally constituted but anti-God laws of Babylon. They were not advocating rebellion, but just the opposite - obedience to the laws of their God and His kingdom, of which they were citizens.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego refused to bow down and worship a gold image that King Nebuchadnezzar had built in the plains of Dura. When accused of disobeying the king's law under threat of being thrown into a burning fiery furnace, they replied:

"O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up. Then Nebuchadnezzar (Clinton) was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego (Netanyahu, et al). Therefore he spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace." (Daniel 3:16-20)

The rest of this story is well known. The men who threw the three Hebrews into the blazing inferno were burned to death, but the Hebrews themselves were unharmed. In fact, the king was astonished to see not three, but "four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the son of God" (verse 25).

God had indeed delivered his Hebrew servants, but if He hadn't, they were willing to die for Him.

Just as the Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego drama occurred in ancient Babylon on the Euphrates River, so too shall a latter-day drama unfold in modern-day Mystery Babylon, whose financial capitol is on the banks of the Hudson River, where men genuflect to the goddess of democracy, the Statue of Liberty. Many will refuse to obey the anti-God laws of the land and will give their lives for God's truth.

"Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth. And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus." (Rev. 17:5-6)

"Touch Not Mine Anointed"

Judgment is falling upon the man and the unclean nation that touched Israel, God's anointed people, to their damage. Clinton's criminal behavior relates not only to the Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky matters, but spiritually against Israel, whose God is orchestrating events behind the scenes.

The Clinton administration caused the collapse of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government because of the Wye Plantation agreement, the latest aspect of the Oslo Accords. These accords were engineered by the United States in contravention of biblical mandates regarding the eternal gift of God's land to His beloved people, Israel.

Will God respond to these continuing acts of rebellion?

"He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He reproved kings (Clinton) for their sakes, Saying, Do not touch My anointed ones..." (Psalm 104:14-15)

"Queen For A Day"

An article in Ha'aretz, an Israeli newspaper, on January 3, 1999, entitled "Albright Says No to Meeting Sharon," exposes another of America's insults to Israel.

"U.S. Secretary of State Albright, reflecting the prevailing mood in Washington, refused to meet with Israeli Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon during his upcoming visit to the United States.

"Sharon is scheduled to travel to New York this week to attend a convention of Israeli consuls- general, and efforts were made to set up a meeting with Albright during his stay. The foreign minister said he wanted to discuss final status topics with his American counterpart, but his request was flatly rejected. (What a slap in the face!)

"He was told that there was no reason to talk about final status matters while Israel refused to implement even the interim agreements... Washington is said to view with gravity the freeze in the peace process that was announced on the heels of President Bill Clinton's visit to Israel last month, as well as reports of increased building activity in Jewish settlements.

"The administration has not openly accused Israel of sabotaging the process in order to avoid the appearance of intervening in Israeli electoral politics. (They are intervening in Israeli politics, as you will see) But the U.S. does view Israel as responsible for the collapse of the Wye accords. (Not true! The Palestinians have refused to comply and thus Israel is waiting.)

"American sources stressed that the Wye agreement, achieved with maximal U.S. involvement was approved by the Israeli government and by the Knesset. They said there was no reason to freeze its implementation. 'It's very simple, Israel signed the agreement and must implement it,' said one American official." (Italics added.)

My subtitle, "Queen For A Day," speaks volumes - that Ms. Albright's "pride (will) goeth before destruction, and (her) haughty spirit before a fall." (Psalm 16:18) The statement in the Ha'aretz article that "Israel signed the agreement and must implement it," is nauseatingly sanctimonious in the face of the truth which was so aptly laid out for us in an op-ed article entitled, "The Big Lie Cometh," in The Jewish Press, week of January 1, 1999.

"The Hebron accord was (forcefully) imposed upon Mr. Netanyahu by the Clinton Administration and he agreed only after he received representations in the Note for the Record that the United States was in agreement with the reciprocity principle and that the size of any further redeployments would be solely in Israel's discretion.

"The Administration, like Arafat, violated its solemn undertaking to Mr. Netanyahu by trashing the Note for the Record.

"Similarly, the Wye River agreement repeated the Administration's commitment to reciprocity and was agreed to by Mr. Netanyahu only after he had obtained that commitment despite extreme Administration pressure. Here too, the Administration, like Arafat, reneged on its commitment."

Clinton's Long Arm Of In-justice

President Clinton recently sent his crackerjack "attack dog" spinmeister, James Carville, to Israel to stack the deck in favor of the Labor Party candidate, Ehud Barak. How impertinent for Clinton to stick his finger into the internal affairs of Israel. But the Scripture says, "He who touches you (Israel) touches the apple of His (God's) eye." (Zech. 2:8)

By way of example, the Bush Administration literally drove Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir out of office by refusing to extend to Israel $10 billion in loan guarantees that were desperately needed to re-settle hundreds of thousands of Russian Jews in Israel. For this offense, God personally engineered President Bush's defeat in his bid for re-election.

The same thing happened years before to President Carter who maneuvered Israel into giving up the Sinai to Egypt. Fat lot of good this did for Israel in the "peace" that Carter forged between them!

And now Clinton is trying his hand at arm wrestling with the God of Israel.

Clinton is sticking his nose into the Israeli elections to overpower Netanyahu and shoe-horn-in Barak, the Labor Party candidate - who would give away all of the West Bank and East Jerusalem to the Palestinians, and create a Palestinian state! That's Clinton's unholy, behind-the-scenes agenda. Did you read about it in the liberal, anti-Israel press? I guess not.

A Clinton-Peres-Gorbachev Link?

An article in the December 29, 1998 Jerusalem Post entitled, "Peres Denies Deal With Barak," shows the "divider's" fancy footwork to climb back up the ladder - no lack of political opportunism.

"Shimon Peres yesterday denied reaching any deal with Labor Party leader Ehud Barak to be appointed as Barak's number two, and as a senior minister, in exchange for Peres' support in the elections...

"He was referring to a report in yesterday's Ha'aretz that Peres would be given the number two slot in exchange for an endorsement of Barak and not leaving the party...

"They noted Barak consulted Peres before his meeting with President Bill Clinton, and Peres and Barak had a private dinner with Barak's three American spin doctors on their recent visit." (One of whom is James Carville, Clinton's "attack dog.")

And in an another article in Ha'aretz on January 12, 1999 entitled, "Peres Urges PA to Negotiate Statehood," it was reported, "In the first speech by an Israeli to the Palestinian legislature, former Prime Minister Shimon Peres yesterday urged Palestinians to forge an independent state through negotiations with Israel. 'It is our deep hope that the Palestinians will gain independence,' Peres told the Palestinian Legislative Council in a visit arranged by The Peres Center for Peace in the Middle East. 'It's in our common interest to see a Palestinian state in place as a result of negotiations - a state that lives democratically and flourishes economically,' he said in an address that won him a standing ovation."

Typical Peres treason! Advocating a Palestinian state! It is very interesting to note that a certain foreign statesmen in attendance at that speech was Mikhail Gorbachev, a member of the Board of Governors of The Peres Center For Peace. Could this be a Gorbachev resurrection? (Rev. 13:3)

Merciless Meddling

The Jewish Press article quoted above also reported, "Make no mistake about it! It was literally a coup d'état that had forced the sovereign state of Israel into early elections for Prime Minister.

"President Clinton's maneuvering Mr. Netanyahu into major concessions through a series of threats and soon-to-be-discarded promises both before and at Wye, and his insistence on Israel's implementing them despite the Palestinians lack of compliance with their obligations, was carefully calculated to cause the erosion of support for Mr. Netanyahu... (a similar technique that Bush employed against his anathema, Yitzhak Shamir)

"And now the President is anticipating the coup de grace with the dispatch of his attack dog, James Carville, to assist Labor in the coming campaign."

Israel, "A Non-Traditional Enemy?"

Do you know what else is happening behind the scenes? Why I call this Gazette "The Times We Live In: A Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego Generation?" Because the Clinton Administration is systematically turning America into a police state, where ultimately Jews will not be welcome, as they lately are no longer welcome in Russia - because the "hunters" have already started their work: to drive the Jewish people back to Israel.

"And afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill and out of the holes of the rocks." (Jeremiah 16:16)

A case in example. The Arutz-7 Daily News on December 6, 1998 published an article, "Strong Letter From Pollard Lawyer To Clinton." You will say, "It never could happen in America!" Well, here it is.

"Jonathan Pollard's attorney, Larry Dub, has upped the ante in a letter he wrote to President Clinton regarding his client's incarceration. Dub accused CIA-head George Tenet and the Defense Department, who have been heavily involved in the campaign to keep Pollard in prison, of anti- Semitism...

"'For example, (said attorney Dub to Clinton), George Tenet, head of the CIA, who recently had the audacity to publicly threaten you, the President of the United States, in order to prevent you from exercising your constitutional authority to grant clemency to Mr. Pollard, can hardly be called a disinterested party.

"'Under Tenet, the CIA has initiated a witch-hunt to rid the agency of Jews holding security clearances. The Defense Department, responsible for the 1996 memo labeling all Jews as unreliable citizens (for having 'too close ethnic ties with Israel' and naming Israel as a 'non- traditional enemy'), used the Jonathan Pollard Case to justify these blatantly anti-Semitic charges against all Jewish Americans and the State of Israel.'"

Now it's the Jews. Next it will be the Christians! And thus, the Scripture quoted above bears repeating:

"Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots... drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus." (Rev. 17:5-6)

In Closing: Did You Know That...?

1) The New York Post reported on January 4, 1999, "Sometime next year, Hillary Rodham Clinton will leave the White House and take up residency in New York - where she'll run for U.S. Senator, a key Democratic senator predicted yesterday." We said in our July 1998 Gazette, "The Basket of Wickedness, " there was a possibility she could end up as president - the Mother of Harlots ruling over Mystery Babylon.

2) According to the 12/30/98 New York Post, a New York City worker is suing the city claiming he was fired for complaining about "pictures of naked men engaged in various acts of sexual intercourse" at the city's Office of Gay and Lesbian Health. Any further questions about the identity of the city which the Scripture talks about? "And the woman whom you saw is that great city..." (Rev. 17:18) Any question about why Hillary would run for office from that city?

3) Clinton engineered IMF loans and grants to Russia and helped them build their 10 newest monster nuclear missiles. On Sunday, 12/27/98, Russia deployed the Topol-M, which has a range of 6,200 miles and will be the new heart of the Russian missile forces, and was developed to maintain Russia's position as a global nuclear power. It is particularly dangerous because it is designed to be fired from a vehicle which makes it immune from pre-emptive strikes. America arms the Beast: "Who is able to make war with him?" (Rev. 13:4) Thanks, Mr. Clinton. Wasn't it enough to arm the Chinese?

4) Russia and Belarus move toward economic integration (potential new beginnings of the Soviet Union). A total integration is expected. It would reduce the CIS from 12 to 11 members, or should I say "horns?" (Rev. 13:1) Look for the CIS alliance to become 10 member states.

5) Russia's Communist Party chief Gennady Zyuganov, on December 23, 1998, joined the recent vicious outburst of Communist party accusations against the Jews, stating, "Our people are not blind. They cannot fail to see that the spread of Zionism in the state government in Russia is one of the reasons for the current catastrophic condition of the country, the mass impoverishment and the process of extinction of its people." He spoke of the "aggressive, destructive role of Zionist capital in the collapse of Russia's economy and the pilfering of its national wealth," and "was calling for fighting an alleged Jewish conspiracy for world domination." (hunters - Jer. 16:16) On the same day, America signed a $625 million food aid agreement with Russia, donating 1.5 million metric tons of wheat to Russia free of charge, plus 1.5 million metric tons of other commodities under a long-term loan (good luck getting repaid!) Recent speeches by top Communists, Albert Makashov, who blamed the country's problems on the "yids," and Viktor Ilyukhin who accused Jews of waging "genocide" on Russians, confirm the rearing of anti- Semitism's ugly head, soon to reach America's shores when the "black horse" of poverty rides rampant over our own fruited plains.

6) The U.S. is considering policies that will place restrictions on the Internet in an effort to control problems like racism and pornography. (12/18/98 NY Times) The question is, "What constitutes racism?" The United Nations said "Zionism is racism." What about maintaining allegiance to the God of Israel, as Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego did? Could that be called "racism?" Be aware of what's happening in this land. A further clamping-down and restrictions on godly, Biblical principals is in the works.

"Remember The Words Of Moses"

For all of the foregoing reasons, this is "A Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego Generation." Most emphatically, it will affect not only Israel, but Jews and also Christians world over, all of whom are a threat to and are hated by the devil and his "tares." (Matt.13:25-30)

This is the final generation before the return of Messiah Yeshua, a time of great testing and purification. Do not take comfort in the "religious" traditions of men who have promised a quick fix and painless removal from the tribulation ahead, but rather let us hope in the Lord and in His salvation, for "he that endures to the end shall be saved."

But take comfort, because it is not just a time of breaking down but also of building up His soon coming Kingdom on this earth, to be headquartered in Jerusalem. That is the place of our true citizenship. And finally, remember the words of Moses (that none may perish):

"You turn man to destruction, and say, Return, O children of men." (Psalm 90:3)

The Soon Coming Majestic Kingdom -
September/October 1999

As the Millennium approaches with the year 2000 being just ahead of us, a resounding cry can be heard throughout the world saying, "Tell us what to expect." From movies about giant meteors crashing down upon the earth, to Y2K theories of vast economic failure, to Mickey Mouse and the Magic Kingdom New Age attitude of unlimited enchantments and tintinabulous paeans to future dreamworlds in which the human family (depicted in the Bible by the number 666 - explained hereinafter) will build its own secular, international, inter-planetary universe, where limitless love will abound forever and ever, misinformation is flying like a snowstorm of ticker tape on lower Broadway in New York City. The problem is, confusion abounds and error runs rampant.

But there is a real kingdom with a real King coming very soon and I'm going to try to paint a picture for you of its sudden, painful and forceful birth, so that you can prepare for it and not be broken in pieces by its arrival and live in it when it comes.

"And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." (Dan. 2:44)

The Restive Downhill Boulder Begins It's Final Descent

The Likud party was the last of the obstacles preventing the crushing descent of the restive downhill boulder. "Restive," because, "marked by impatience;" (Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary) it was anxious to get underway, after a long delay, on an unhindered downhill course, crushing every blade of green grass, every element of opposition and every pocket of resistence, on its journey downward; like the sinister black hordes of Hitler that salivated over the dream of one day running rampant, goose-stepping, through the indefensible backyards of Europe - and then they got that dream, much to the anguish of every Jew, every blade of grass and every decent human being on the face of the earth.

But just as it ended that previous hideous downhill journey with the miraculous rebirth of the ancient State of Israel, this time it will end with the miraculous new birth of the long awaited Millennial Kingdom of God on this earth with its headquarters on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. That's why this little piece of earth will become the most sought after and fought over piece of real estate in the entire world in the next few years; not an "International City of Peace" as some declare, but an international "cup of drunkenness" as Zechariah prophesies, and "all who would heave it away (from its rightful Jewish owners) will surely be cut in pieces." (Zechariah 12:2-3)

This boulder has now begun the last leg of a journey which began in 586 BC with the captivity and domination of Judah and Jerusalem by Babylon, cutting off the throne of David. The journey has continued through the intervening kingdoms of Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. It now will finish its descent with the last two Gentile kingdoms of this world, "partly of iron and partly of clay." (Daniel 2:33)

The first of these latter day two Gentile kingdoms which continue to dominate Israel is America. It will be superceded by the second such kingdom, a revived Communist Russian empire, at the appropriate time within the next handful of years.

On its renewed downhill journey, the boulder will ignite a fiery vengeance against Israel far worse than the Holocaust (and against all the people of God for that matter). It can be seen as the Devil's last and most violent anti-God stand since the beginning of the world. The torment of it cannot be stopped by man but only by the God of heaven when He brings to birth His Kingdom, which will "break in pieces and consume" the dark spirit which has permeated all of the Gentile kingdoms of this world beginning with Babylon.

His kingdom will also "break in pieces and consume" the final two Gentile kingdoms of this world, one a democracy (iron) and the other, Communistic (clay). ("Iron does not mix with clay" - Daniel 2:42-43) His will be a theocratic, non-democratic and majestic kingdom, not magical; far different from the New Age placebo with its rainbow-hued bubble which the Kingdom of God will burst when it arrives. But God's Millennial kingdom will never ever be destroyed. Take a good look, all you atheists of the world. You have a real dilemma soluble only by salvation.

Incredibly enough, the boulder has finally been shaken loose from its temporary inertia during the Likud government by the action of William Jefferson Clinton with the cooperation of Ehud Barak's newly-elected One Israel government. And just as Judas's action betrayed the Son of God but accomplished God's purposes by bringing Him to the cross for the sins of humanity, it evoked God's reaction against Judas. America's actions, as quintessential as Judas's, will also evoke God's interdiction - whether by drought, flooding, whirlwinds, earthquakes, a new Lewinsky matter to shake the White House, or whatever - like an unstoppable locomotive - sooner and fiercer then anyone could possibly anticipate - but totally supernatural, by God's hand, without the intervention of any human agency.

I remind you that the Scripture says, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," (Hebrews 10:31) but no one seems to worry about what the Scriptures say or about the consequences of their actions any more. Mostly nobody wants to listen to Him these days; they don't even want Him to exist; just like the times of Noah when the floods came suddenly and unexpectedly and took them all away. Jesus said that these days would be just like those days. (Matt. 24:37-39) But He will provide an "umbrella" of protection over His own people in these latter wicked times just like He did for Noah in the earlier times.

After all, under the modern-day, man-made fiction of "separation of church and state," the Bible is almost illegal in Uncle Sam's America nowadays and those who believe in it are regularly accused of being bigots and fundamentalist extremists for taking their stand for God's righteousness. That's exactly what they said to Noah before the floods came and swept them all away. (I guess if there were a real Uncle Sam somewhere, he would be turning over in his grave right now.)

How far and how quickly we have fallen in this beautiful land in such a short time. Seems like public pressure from the ticker-tape-mesmerized crowd in America with their liberal agenda holds just about everyone at arms length from the Bible. And God's unpungent unguent will soon flood this land which has forgotten Him just like it did to every other country that ever turned against God and His Jewish people, like Babylon and Rome and Britain and Nazi Germany,etc.

Floyd Celebrates Sixth Anniversary
of the September 13, 1993 Signing of Oslo Accord

Final Status negotiations were officially renewed between Israel and the PLO at Erez Crossing, Gaza Strip, on the evening of September 13, 1999. Remarkably, this was exactly the 6th anniversary of the signing of the Oslo accords by Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat on the White House lawn in Washington, DC on September 13, 1993.

(Six years; Six is the number assigned by the Bible to man since man was created by God on the 6th day; thus the number 666 is assigned to the Antichrist in Rev. 13:18 because and it represents the body, soul and spirit of man trying to elevate it's collective self above God).

And it is on this 6th anniversary of Oslo, give or take a day or two, that Hurricane Floyd, a fierce category 5 storm, one of the largest of the century, categorized by the news media as Hurricane Andrew's "Big Daddy," is bearing down on our area of the country, South Florida, and up the coastline from here. Andrew exploded into South Florida on August 24, 1992, the exact day of the recommencement of the peace talks in Washington, DC, following the American-instigated defeat of Yitzhak Shamir's Likud government and the election of the new Rabin administration.

We are now watching Hurricane Floyd executing God's judgment for America's instigation of these anti-God "peace"deals that are placing His Jewish children and their land in extraordinary jeopardy. And He makes His rebuttal effectively, through nature, measure for measure.

God's Burning Jealousy

"Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations (America) and against all Edom, (the Palestinians), who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with whole-hearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country (West Bank heartlands)... Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, My people Israel; they shall take possession of you, and you shall be their inheritance; no more shall you bereave them of their children." (Ezekiel 36:5,12)

And God will produce His modern day Moses (Malachi 4:4-6), one of the two end time witnesses - Elijah being the other - to deliver His people Israel who are now being divested of their God-given land by the chicanery of Arafat, the Egyptian re-writer of Israeli history and of the Bible with the approval of the Clinton and Albright crowd, but there will be a price to pay in the end; just like there was for Pharaoh.

The new Prime Minister, Barak, has done what Netanyahu wouldn't and God is trumpeting His displeasure with the Israeli leaders as well (the serious drought in Israel bears witness to that) - who have contributed more to the future pain of their people than they could possibly imagine.

"I am announcing to the tribes of Israel what will surely happen. The leaders of Judah are like men who move boundary stones; I will pour My fury out upon them like water." (Hosea 5:10)

The Time of the Hunters

"I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks." (Jeremiah 16:16)

The shofar which I saw was also warning that the descending boulder would rapidly energize the Jew-haters: the "hunters" who will succeed in driving His people back to the land of their fathers (which is His ultimate will). At this very moment they are emerging more and more from the darkened cracks and crevices into the sun on the streets of the whole earth. It is already happening with gusto in such unlikely and likely places as Chicago, Sacramento, Granada Hills, Washington, D.C., Moscow, Teheran, Paris, Geneva and Israel. There will even be a crescendo of this horrible refrain. As bizarre as it may seem, the Palestinians themselves, who are benefitting from Israeli mercy, lands and jobs being only one small part of it, continue to deny the Holocaust. The Thursday, August 26, 1999 issue of the Arutz 7 reports,

"The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) is urging Secretary of State Madeleine Albright - who will meet today in Washington with PA official Abu Mazen - to pressure him to publicly retract his claim that the Nazis did not murder six million Jews... (He) is the author of a book, "The Other Side; The Secret Relationship Between Naziism and the Zionist Movement," which argues that the Nazis may have really killed less than one million Jews and that the Zionist movement was a partner in the slaughter of the Jews."

The article also goes on to quote many other similar statements made by Palestinians. But what the article fails to mention is that the grandfather of Arafat's present deputy in Jerusalem, Faisal al Husseini, the Grand Mufti during the time of the Holocaust, enjoined Adolph Hitler to not allow the Jews to return from Nazi Germany to the land of Israel and thus himself contributed to the deaths of many Jews. But he couldn't prevent God's will from being fulfilled either. Also, let it be noted that the Wednesday, September 8, 1999 issue reports, "Mein Kampf, by Adolph Hitler, is in the 6th place on the Palestinian Authority's best-seller list.

Indeed, Anti-Jewish innuendo, bullets, knives and flames are breaking out everywhere, even on American streets under our very noses. It is blowing so strongly against the almost completely pollution-drenched and dulled minds of our modern generation that few are noticing it... even in many of the churches because of a major "falling away." (2 Thess.2: 3)

Yes, He is making it clear that He intends to judge this almost uniformly arrogant and hostile civilization which will one more time pierce His Jewish children with their already bloodied swords... and they being naively unaware of their own peril have once again become willing dancing partners for their own executioners. Just like in Nazi Germany, unimaginable trouble lies ahead for them. And God who by His own word is a Father to Israel (Jeremiah 31:9) will once again redeem His beloved children this one last time. They will later come to Him "with weeping and with supplications" (Jer. 31:9) when their pain becomes unbearable.

Seven Years of Famine

"Indeed seven years of great plenty will come throughout all the land of Egypt (America); but after them seven years of famine will arise, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt (America); and the famine will deplete the land. So the plenty will not be known in the land because of the famine following, for it will be very severe." (Genesis 41:29-31)

This is a graphic picture of what will happen during the 70th week of Daniel. Because of that famine, the Mark of the Beast will be required to be taken (Rev. 13:17) for the purchase of food. Note well that the taking of that mark will automatically prevent eternal life with God. Halfway through the 70th week, the Russian Beast will rise to worldwide domination as America teeter-totters under the heavy curse of economic devastation and tumbles from her wealthy one-world superpower supremacy.

At the finish of this 70th week, "the times of the Gentiles" (Luke 21:24) are finally completed and Messiah Yeshua returns. These "times of the Gentiles" began when Nebuchadnezzar interrupted the throne of David in 586 BC by taking all Judah and Jerusalem captive into Babylon and to reiterate, they still continue to this very day under the domination of the last two kingdoms of "clay and iron;" (Daniel 2:44-45) America, the Harlot nation (Rev. 17:5) and Russia, the restored Communistic Beast nation (Rev. 13:1).

Now what we must do is watch God's clock and see when the "final-status arrangement" of the Middle East "peace" covenant (Camp David/Oslo/Hebron/Wye Plantation) between Israel and the Arabs is concluded and confirmed, and then the last horrible 7 years, the 4th cycle of seven years, will begin.

Completion of the Cycle of 4 Sevens at the 7th Trumpet

"Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!" (Rev. 11:15)

False Prophets and New Age Deceptions

"Many false prophets will appear and fool many people; and many people's love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah... For there will appear... false prophets performing great miracles - amazing things! So as to fool even the chosen, if possible. There! I have told you in advance! (Matt. 24:11, 24 Complete Jewish Bible)

Even Christians who should know better are enticed by the Devil's magical illusions, enchantments and incantations away from Torah (the Scriptures) to seek after New Age signs and wonders: whether it's gold dust (strangely glittering gold dust on the clothes and hair of illusionists reminding us of the lyric of the old song, "Moonlight becomes you, it glows in your hair"- a modern-day New Age idol - not at all different than the Biblical golden calf - Exod.32: 4) or excessive and uncontrollable laughter with accompanying animal noises (real laughter in the Holy Spirit is revitalizing) or new age angels, white horses (the mythical Pegasus), doves, rainbows and apparitions, crystal or terpsichore (the muse of dance - not Biblical Davidic dance - but pure hopping emotionalism); New Age deception which the Lord calls "folderol." Look it up. I did.

These people should not be seeking after self fulfillment but after Biblical knowledge of the signs of the times, about how to stand and not to fall in the dangerous minefields lying just ahead. They should be strengthening themselves in Torah and learning how to stand with Israel in the times of impending approaching danger. This is a critical time for the Church to join hands with Zion, a new day in which God is calling His Church to be transformed into Messianic Christian Zionists - as we exit the Church Age and enter the Zion Age. They should be learning how to be bold and strong as Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego were in the face of the looming fiery trials. (Daniel 3:17-18)

The Devil is disarming God's people "so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect" (Matt. 24:24) by focusing their attention on "the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life" (1 John 2:16); pure romantic self indulgence; a favorite trick of his. And if you listen carefully, you can actually hear the sound of the trumpet and the warning cry of the watchman... calling, "there's a sucker born every minute" and death is stalking the unwary with "a kiss of death!" Beware, it's a set up for greater deceptions by the False Prophet and the Antichrist to come.

Death of a Prince and an Era

"Adonai is God, merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in grace and truth; showing grace to the thousandth generation, forgiving offenses, crimes and sins; yet not exonerating the guilty, but causing the negative effects of the parents' offenses to be experienced by their children and grandchildren, and even by the third and fourth generations. (Exodus 34:6-7 Complete Jewish Bible)

Another thing God was saying and this is shocking. And it didn't take Him very long at all, in fact, exactly 18 days, (the number 18 in Hebrew stands for "chai" or life), from the time of my vision of the Ram's Horn From Heaven for the first terrible payoff to take place. Make no mistake about it, it was related to Israel, the Apple of His eye. But who ever expected that it would be America's firstborn son, the prince and scion of American royalty, who would die a sudden death in an unexpected and horrifying airplane crash?

The question was asked by William Safire, one of my favorite op-ed writers, "Is Life Unfair?" in an op-ed article in the July 19, 1999 New York Times. Parenthetically, any of the settlers in Judea and Samaria or the Golan Heights, whose lands are about to be taken from them by Barak and Clinton to be given to the Arabs, would certainly agree, if someone would care to ask them, that life is, indeed, "unfair." But it is fair to say that there is an awful price to be paid for cursing the Jews and Israel, their God-given homeland. But God has a clear and forthright international policy on that matter and He doesn't need a United Nations force to execute it.

"I will bless those who bless you, (Israel) And I will curse him who curses you." (Gen. 12:3)

Safire said in The New York Times, "But he did not fall victim to any 'Kennedy curse.' The icon-busting book of Job teaches that God does not micro-manage the universe, and that free-willed human beings are responsible for actions and injustices..."

Here's my response to Mr. Safire's assumption: Wrong, Mr. Safire! The Bible teaches that curses are inherited. And that ancestral curses have far reaching validity. Those who have cursed the Jews or Israel across the ages have found that out the hard way... like Babylon, Rome, the former British Empire and Nazi Germany. Pharaoh is another one of those who tasted God's wrath.

"So Pharaoh rose in the night, he and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one." (Exodus 12:30)

All the firstborn in the land of Egypt died, including Pharaoh's firstborn son. Pharaoh by his own tradition thought he was God (666). But he soon found out through his personal tragedy that he wasn't; in fact, he found out that he was God's personal enemy for which there were dire consequences because of his ignominious treatment of the Jews.

A Warning to Any Who Have It In Their Hearts to Curse Israel's Children!

Another firstborn died thousands of years later... on Friday, July 16th, 1999, the Jewish Sabbath, which is also God's Sabbath, while we were worshiping at our Messianic synagogue here in South Florida. For punctuation, God made it happen at the exact time that Ehud Barak was visiting America, where he, under duress, and Bill Clinton were busily agreeing on just how to give away the land that God had given to Israel as an eternal everlasting possession thousands of years earlier. It wasn't theirs to give and there's the rub.

And because of it, another payback that had been earned years before by Joe Kennedy, Sr., was about to be made, and America, a veritable modern-day Egypt in God's sight, would lose it's own firstborn: JFK, Jr., whose plane went down off the coast of Martha's Vineyard just a mere few miles from the waters where his Uncle Teddy also suffered God's wrath not too many years before when Mary Jo Kopeckne was found dead in his car in the water. Her death effectively closed the door to any presidential ambitions that Teddy might have had much to the dismay of Joe Kennedy, Sr. Granddaddy Joe was the real culprit in God's sight, and the whole clan should know it so that they can repent of his wicked deeds by proxy before this curse takes any more of their lives.

After all. while Ambassador to Britain, hadn't Joe actually aided and abetted Adolph Hitler in his attempted genocide of the whole Jewish race, God's firstborn? Wasn't Joe a known Nazi sympathizer who wore his anti-Semitism on his sleeve like a badge of honor?

But why John, Jr? What did he ever do? It's not what he did, but what Joe did before him. Remember? Curses, Mr. Safire? Yes, curses... because of the Jews, God's children. Tragically, it was only the 39th year after John's birth - the set time appointed by God for His stored up judgment to fall - a sign? Indeed. Remember that Jesus received 39 stripes - and Israel received the 39 SCUD missile hits during the Gulf war. - John was about to be 39 in a few short months... and he had so much to live for.

But so did all of those Jews who died in the Nazi gas chambers; whose grandfathers' money could not buy them life let alone the presidency or some other political perk. Some of them were little children... even babies. By God's system, justice was done... even if it hurt a lot of Americans (including me) to the teeth. JFK, Jr., was a grand young man, but the chickens had, indeed, come home to roost for the sins of his grandfather. A life for a life, Mr. Safire. Joe's children for God's children. "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord;" so don't get mad at me for telling the truth. Just let it be a warning to any who have anti-Jewish sentiments in their hearts, any plans to curse Israel's children.

In "The Sins of the Father," Ronald Kessler, the author of nine acclaimed books and a former investigative reporter for the Boston Herald, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, documents the facts of Joe, Sr.'s, life exhaustively. One such reference reported a conversation Joe had on June 13, 1938 with Herbert von Dirksen, the German ambassador, at the German embassy in London, where Joe was the American ambassador under the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Administration.

"Joe told the German ambassador that Chamberlain was anxious to have some sort of settlement with Germany. By saying this, he undercut Great Britain's negotiating position with Hitler. He said Roosevelt was not anti-German and wanted friendly relations with Hitler. However, no European leader spoke well of the Germans because most of them were 'afraid of the Jews' and did not 'dare to say anything good about Germany.'

"...Joe said Hitler's government had done 'great things for the country. The Germans were 'satisfied' and enjoyed 'good living conditions.' A report that said the limited food in Germany was being reserved for the army could not be true, Joe told the ambassador. After all, Joe said, the professor who had made the report 'was a Jew.'

"Turning to 'the Jewish question,' Dirksen told the German secretary of state, in Joe's view, 'it was not so much that [the Germans] wanted to get rid of the Jews that was so harmful to us, but rather the loud clamor with which we accompanied this purpose.' Dirksen reported that Joe said he 'understood our Jewish policy completely; he was from Boston and there, in one golf club, and in other clubs, no Jews had been admitted for the last fifty years...

"'The average American took a very simple view of problems of foreign policy,' Joe told Dirksen. The United States had only '3.5 million Jews,' and the overwhelming majority of them 'lived on the East Coast,' he said. Most other Americans have no anti-German feeling. However, the press on the East Coast was 'predominant in the formation of public opinion in America' and was 'strongly influenced by the Jews.'

"At the end of the conversation, Dirksen suggested that Joe visit Hitler to see for himself what he was doing with the country. Joe was amenable...

"Based on what his father had told him, Morton Downey Jr. said, 'I think if Joe had had his way, Hitler would have succeeded in his annihilation of the Jews... He always found great favor in Hitler. He would have loved to see him succeed.'

"The Germans used Joe's comments in their propaganda. The German News Agency released a report that Joe had sent a defeatist cable to Washington. According to the alleged cable, the Western powers had no chance of winning the war, and German arms manufacturers were far superior to French or British manufacturers...

"Then the Nazi government published a German White Paper containing what were said to be excerpts of documents captured from the Polish archives. The aim of the white paper was to show that the British, French, and Americans had pushed Poland into the war with Germany. The excerpts quoted Joe as telling the Polish ambassador in London during the previous summer he would urge the British to aid the Polish leaders with cash.

"Over the next year, Roosevelt would receive other reports that more than justified his harsh opinion of Joe. On May 3, 1941, for example, J. Edgar Hoover, the FBI director, informed Roosevelt that a source had said Joe and Ben Smith had met with Goering in Vichy, France, and had donated a considerable sum of money to Germany."

If this Jew-hating, Nazi sympathizer (and I didn't tell the whole story), was the progenitor of the Kennedy clan, which he was, then some serious repentance is in order, if familial sins are to be remitted by God. Otherwise, the curse will continue unabated.

A Woman Flown On Eagle's Wings Into The Wilderness

"Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time." (Rev. 12:1, 14)

We interpret this Scripture in Revelation by referring to a dream that Joseph, the great patriarch of Israel, dreamed thousands of years earlier.

"Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, 'Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to me.'" (Genesis 37:9)

In this dream, Joseph's brothers, all sons of Israel, (Jacob was renamed Israel by God) are represented by the eleven stars that bowed down to him. Joseph was thus himself the twelfth star. Together Joseph and his eleven brothers symbolize the twelve tribes of Israel and can be identified as the garland of twelve stars worn by the woman (who is symbolic of Israel). The eagle is to be seen as the American bald eagle who opens the Pandora's box loosing a swarm of evils on mankind, and flying the woman, Israel, into the wilderness of suffering for "time and times and half a time," 3-1/2 scriptural years. We are now seeing the opening of that box which marks the brand-new beginning of the Eagle-flight (same as the Boulder-descent), which will be completely implemented half-way through the final seven year period, already identified herein as the 70th week of Daniel.

Jerusalem Not An International City of Peace

"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples (not an "International City of Peace"); all who would heave it away (from its rightful owners, the Jewish people) will surely be cut in pieces (the 'sudden destruction' referred to above), though all nations of the earth are gathered against it (Armageddon)." (Zechariah 12:2-3)

Once Mr. Barak consummates the covenant of False Peace with the Arabs, the Pope (whether this one or the next), who is suggesting that it will and should be an International City of Peace jointly controlled by the Jews, the Muslims and the Catholic Church, will come to confirm it according to the scriptures (Daniel 9:27). At the moment of that confirmation, Daniel's 70th Week begins; the period which we already discussed quite thoroughly, consisting of the last 7 years of the age, dreadful years indeed, leading to the third world war, Armageddon. Following this the Lord Yeshua returns to fight for His people Israel, and thereafter establishes His throne, the throne of David, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

All of those who would "heave it away" (Jerusalem), be they Jew or Gentile, had best think carefully of the consequences: They "will surely be cut in pieces," and receive the righteous judgments of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These are the warnings of the shofar from heaven.

I adjure those of you who read these words to not take them lightly or to believe that I say them with hatred in my heart. I wish only to bring about real repentance toward the only true God that ever was or ever will be, so that you, Jew, Arab, Christian, Catholic, black, white, red or yellow, etc., might come clean before the Lord of heaven and earth and ask forgiveness of your sins, so that you may inherit eternal life and have your name written in "the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." (Rev.13: 8) And if it should be that the final accord takes a little longer than the year 2000, or the return of the Lord a little later than the year 2007, THE WARNING STILL STANDS!
