The third musical in our trilogy, "The Time of Mendel's Trouble," is an epic that dramatizes the Book of Revelation in that uniquely Jewish way that we do so well.

The story revolves around our hero, Mendel Moskowitz, who gets a visit from the Burning Bush which scoots into his living room in Brooklyn, and tells him, "Mendel, I'm making you a prophet." And Mendel replies, "It's about time I made a profit!" Even serious subjects can be dramatized with a bit of humor. He is then sent to Jerusalem and becomes one of the two end-time witnesses!

The show incorporates a Romeo & Juliet-type love story, political satire, comedy, tragedy, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil when the Messiah finally returns to earth!

The prophetic Biblical message of this new musical rings loud and clear: Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah and He is coming again! It is a message of the great love of God for His people, and it is also a warning that there will be a time of tribulation:

"Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: It is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it." (Jeremiah 30:7)

The humorous political satire is extraordinary, as is the music. In churches, it's not always possible to make political statements, but in the theater, there is unfettered artistic freedom. Our show shines the light on the U.N., the Arabs, the Muslims, the Russians, and the Politicians!

  

It's heartening to see more and more Christians standing as friends of Israel, because the Jewish people need all the friends they can get in a world that tolerates the fanatic lunatic of Iran who calls for Israel's destruction. This show beautifully proclaims the prophetic message that Yeshua really is the Messiah, and that He is coming again.

We produced a Showcase of "The Time of Mendel's Trouble" at The Beckett Theatre in New York City. Actors' Equity, the union that governs actors, has rules for this kind of presentation. We were allowed to rehearse for only 4 weeks and then have 16 performances in a theater with 99 seats or less.

Now that the Showcase is over, we must move on with this great show! The plan is to continue to raise finances through sponsorships, tax-deductible offerings into our nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
