The Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast,
January 21, 2013, in Washington, DC

The first public performance of 2 arias from our new operetta, "Esther, Sweet Esther," at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast was outstanding! Our fantastic team consisted of Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg (Producers/Authors/Composer), Denny Hollowell (Core Tenor with the Virginia Symphony Chorus), George Comtois (Baritone), DL (Soprano), Gela Ashcroft (Music Director/Soprano), DeAnn Trimarchi (Soprano), Anatalia Ashcroft (Violin), Tracy Christensen (Costumes), Carolyn Paddock (Choreographer/Ballerina), and Danny O'Mara (Production Assistant)

Everyone gathered in Washington, DC, on Saturday, Jan. 19th, and rehearsed Saturday and Sunday before the Prayer Breakfast at 7:00 AM on Monday the 21st.

There were close to 1,000 people in attendance at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel’s Grand Ballroom. We were called up to the stage toward the end of the breakfast service. At first, you could hear the clinking of silverware and dishes as the people were eating. But during our introductory remarks, the clinking stopped, and when I said, "We pray that America will support Israel," the audience erupted in applause and cheers.

As our talented cast of Believers performed the two arias, you could hear a pin drop. At the end of the performance, the audience rose to their feet with thunderous applause, cheers and blowing of shofars! Praise God, it was a tremendous success!

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Keynote Speaker at the Prayer Breakfast, wrote:
